Author has written 2 stories for Twilight.
I love writing, I've tried and over and over again to start my own novels but I'm always hampered by my need for everything to be completely original. It's impossible though, we have thousands of years of literary history to compete with, billions of stories and films and comics that have all at some point or another covered pretty much anything there is to write. So I suppose this is why I like fan fiction, it gives me a jumping off point and I can feel free to twist and weave my own story into a world that already exists. I like creating my own characters too and giving them their own relationships with the characters that already exist. Though I feel weird writing romantic scenes, it makes me cringe to think of writing things like 'her quivering bosom' so I try and keep them brief, I much prefer to write about humourous interactions or battle sequences, occasionally having to stop myself before making it too bloody.
I'm a geek by nature, I like:
The original x-men comics (not the films, though I do love Patrick Stewart. I don't know what they were thinking with what they did to Rogue, it's ridiculous)
The Night Huntress series by Jeaneane Frost
The Elemental Assassin series by Jennifer Estep (awesome, I mean...really really awesome! She managed to take an amazing premise which has been tried before but always really cheesy, in a bad way, and make it great. Her stories are just amazing; clever, witty and action packed. I suggest you read them...now, go on, read them, you know you want to)
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
Twilight (I'm neither team Edward or Jacob, I'm team Bella)
The Count of Monte Cristo
There are more but I've talked enough. Read my stuff, review, leave hateful comments if you like but I'll probably respond to them with either a witty remark or 'your mum'.
