Author has written 2 stories for Harry Potter, Alex Rider, and Percy Jackson and the Olympians.

Hello there!

My name is AliCloud and together we will rule universe! *laughs evilly*

But seriously, I'm new and just kind of starting out with the whole profile thing. I'm probably going to suck at it and you can bet that at some point in the very near future my mistakes will be world famous... you just watch, don't say I didn't warn you.

OK, so to start off with, I'm just your average Aussie Christian Gal, except for some crazy NEED FOR READ. I spend most of my time participating in, unfortunately average, activities. I would love to tell you that I'm a super hero in disguise and I'm destined to change the world for the better, but honestly... that's just not true. So instead, I read (and occastionally write) fanfiction. Fun I know.

Also, You should know that my school is crazy. 25 assignments in a term. Plus tests. So as I am also expected to get As in everything, any stories I write will not always be updated quickly. However, I will not abandon any stories! Chapters will be posted eventually!

I've reviewed a few people previously as an anonymous reviewer by the name of Aussie. I would have kept that name but unfortunately it's been taken by someone. Depressing I know. However I am hoping to message everyone I've reviewed and been replied to by, and tell them about the name change. I am still reading and following your stories so you may be getting a few AliClouds in the near to distant future.

I should probably mention my brother, StroodleMuffin. Yes, I tried to get him to change the name. No, he won't budge. So basically, no Flames please. I can be scary-protective-ninja-style when I want to be and believe me that not a pretty sight. Just. Don't. Do. It. No one annoys my brother except ME!

Okay, so as I mentioned before, I will always update any fics I write at some point. So, I am happy to announce that I am in the process of writing the next chapter for The Lies We Believed. If anyone wants to beta, that would be great, otherwise I will try to finish the last part and just get someone to edit it. But it will be posted. I just can't tell you when.

So, I now have a FictionPress acount! If you would like to look around over there just click HERE. Admitedly, I personally believe FanFiction is a lot more fun, but I will be posting basic stuff on there, like stories for School.

Also, I am currently writing a joint story with my brother, StroodleMuffin. It's a crossover of I am Number Four/Lorien Legacies and Percy Jackson and has been heaps of fun to write. Incase you're interested, the details are as follows, and the story can be found HERE.

Name: Demigods Vs Aliens (Note: This is NOT a lack of creativity on our part. We figured Aliens had versed almost everyone else - Monsters, Cowboys, etc - and we figured we'd give demigods a try)

Summary: I know I've been in some weird situations but this one seriously takes the cake. Abducted by Aliens. Who say I'm an Alien. And I thought demigod's lives were weird... Basically, after the events of SoN, the trip to Greece is delayed and Percy takes a short Quest to San Fran in search of a demigod. When Four and Six - who are currently running from the law with Sam in an old pickup truck - happen to spy Percy using his Posiedon powers they are overjoyed that they've found one of 'the nine'. The only problem is, Percy's pretty sure he's not an Alien and he's also meant to be leading both camps to victory against Gaea... With all this weight on his shoulders, how can Percy fight both wars?

Yeah, So... Please Read! Thankyou!

Roman Vs Greek?
Winner: Greeks (hands down)

Annabeth Vs Piper?
Winner: Annabeth would wipe the floor with that girl.

Percy Vs Jason?
Winner: Do I even have to say how much cooler Percy is? Percy's the Saviour of Olympus and Jason's a sad boy who never got over being kidnapped as a baby... Just putting it out there!

Leo Vs Grover?
Winner: Tie. I actually like both.

Percy Jackson Vs Heroes of Olympus
Winner: Classics are gold.

Now for some random things I copied and pasted.

Now I sit me down in school
where praying is against the rule.
For this great nation under God
finds mention of Him very odd.
If Scripture now the class recites,
it violates the Bill of Rights.
And anytime my head I bow
becomes a Federal matter now.
Our hair can be purple, orange, or green,
that's no offense; it's a freedom scene.
The law is specific, the law is precise.
Prayers spoken aloud are a serious vice.
For praying in a public hall
might offend someone with no faith at all.
In silence alone we must meditate,
God's name is prohibited by the state.
We're allowed to cuss and dress like freaks,
and pierce our noses, tongues, and cheeks...
They've outlawed guns, but FIRST the Bible,
to quote the Good Book makes me liable.
We can elect a pregnant Senior Queen,
and the 'unwed daddy' our Senior King.
It's 'inappropriate' to teach right from wrong,
we're taught that such 'judgements' do not belong.
We can get our condoms and birth controls,
study witchcraft, vampires, and totem poles.
But the Ten Commandments are not allowed,
no word of God must reach the crowd.
It's scary here I must confess,
when chaos reings the school's a mess.
So, Lord, this silent plea I make:
Should I be shot; My soul please take!
Amen.

If you aren't ashamed to do this,
Please pass this on.
Jesus said,

"If you are ashamed of me, I will be ashamed of you before my Father." (if you pass this on, you will be accepted into Team Awesome-ness)

And for a limited time only, team awesomeness is distributing cookies! (virtual of course)... but seriously the words above made me so annoyed because they are so TRUE!

Okay, so every now and again I get really passionate about random topics. I can get really frustrated because no one listens to my view. The way some people deal with frustration is by punching a pillow or throwing stuff. Me? Well, I generally write down my arguement, just so that a) I can make sense of what it is I disagree with and make sure it's justified and b) because by the time I finish I have generally gotten rid of the frustration. It just makes me feel like I've done something to make my voice heard. My dad read some of these 'mind blurts' as I call them, and said I should post a few of them here. Yeah, so if you don't want to listen to me rant or state kind of obvious stuff that borders on pessimism then just skip this bit.

The Question

It's funny , don't you think, that successful people never seem to end up truly happy. How many songs today speak of how the writer misses the days before the complications of popularity? They are many and numerous. It's interesting that, even when people gain and achieve everything they've ever hoped for, there is often a clear lingering regret that has no right to be there. Despite their success, I wonder if they feel there is something not right. Maybe they feel they have missed something, or that being famous is not all it's cracked up to be. Maybe, having succeeded in making their dreams reality, they are not sure what to do next. Maybe their vision is not as sweet in real life. This is not neccessarily surprising, there are many that preach being a celebrity is not a fulfilling lifestyle. The real question that comes to mind has to be 'why?'

WHY do they feel they've missed something? And more importantly, have we missed it too? As we go about our daily lives do we have a purpose? WHY do we get up in the morning? Is it for friends, family, success, freedom or even just to have a good time? Are these things worthy things to focus our lives around, or have we all missed the point? Is there even a point? WHY have we been dropped on the sphere in the middle of nowhere? Are we supposed to be here for a reason or is everything that happens to us just a fluke?

WHY are there so many questions and no answers and what do we do now?

The easy response would be that we just live. Who honestly cares if we have a purpose or not? Maybe we do or maybe we don't but if we don't fulfill whatever plan there may or may not have been is that really so bad? We never changed the world, but we had a lot of fun. We settled down, had an average family (a wife/husband with 2/3/4/5/12 kids and lots of grandchildren) and never did anything too horrible. It was not particularly dangerous or out there but that's really not so bad. Ignorance is bliss, right?

For some, maybe this is all they want. It's easy and almost risk free. Indeed, it's the choice of many people around the world for these very reasons. At the same time though, there's a good chance it will leave you feeling unfulfilled in your life when that's the very thing we subconsciously try to avoid. Do we want to come to the end of our lives and realise we never did anything useful?

I certainly don't.

The other option is a considerably more risky one, and there's a reason why many avoid it. Upon being faced with this problem we can choose to either ignore it (as in the response above) or face it head on and face the consequences. We can research and look at the world around us, analyse the beliefs of others and search the Earth for a reason or a meaning. There is a chance we'll find the answers we're searching for. Maybe we will discover life's purpose... But there's a good chance we won't and then, just like the others, we too have wasted the short span of years we have on this planet.

Whatever decision you make or whatever belief you may hold, having a fulfilling life still depends on how you answer this question. The threat of ending up like these confused celebrities is one that hangs over the heads of every one of us and choosing not to act is a decision in and of itself. By making this decision, you decide the rest of your life and it is imposssible to stand at the crossroads for any length of time. You must commit to finding the answer or live with never knowing. There is no other option, and the truth is, there never was.

Yeah, so... cool. I'm probably gonna replace this with a new one every so often. If you like this and I replace it, just PM me and I'll send it to you.

If you think it's really stupid and are questioning my sanity then if you look up to the left hand corner of the screen you'll see the back button. It will take you away from this page and solve all your problems.

Quotes (or saying thingies):

Sarcasm is a body's natural defense against stupid

They say "guns don't kill people, people kill people" well I think the guns help. If you stood there and yelled "Bang!", I don't think you'de kill too many people.

The dinosaur's extinction wasn't an accident. Barney came and they all commited suicide.

You cry, I cry, You laugh, I laugh. You fall off a cliff, I laugh harder.

Boys are like slinkys. Basically useless, and yet it's so amusing to watch them fall down stairs.

Some people are alive today simply because it is illegal to kill them.

I couldn't repair your brakes, so I made the horn louder.

IF IT WASN"T FOR PHYSICS AND LAW ENFORCEMENT I'D BE UNSTOPPABLE.

Why did God have to make Mondays?... To give us a sneek peek of what hell would be like.

Too many freaks, not enough circuses.

Coolios,
AliCloud
