He watched her make her away across the hall, looking every bit as delicious as he remembered. He cursed himself. They were apart to save her, weren't they? He had spent months trying to forget her... but how could he forget the only person he had ever allowed in? He had to, it was the only way to keep her from experiencing the inevitable pain being with him would bring. Wasn't it?

Christian continues to keep secrets from Anastasia and she keeps walking out on him. Would their love for each other continue if Christian keeps making Anastasia leave from everything he is bottling up to her.

Remember that scene in 50 Shades Darker when Christian scared the hell out of everyone and, when they were all worried, he was so confused? Well, I thought there was a huge missed opportunity there. This is my take on what should have happened.
