Author has written 5 stories for House of Night, Vampire: The Masquerade, and Twilight.
I am a gamer from old, I started to play in 1976, but I never even thought to write a story until recently, a friend had a game that I had, so I wrote a short story of how to get from point a to b. He told me how much it was like a story, so I then tried my hand at it, my niece asked me if i was trying to be the next Anne Rice. So this started me on my journey in the writing world, you can see how my stories changed as I read some of my favorite authors, Anne Rice first of course. Then I move on to Stephenie Meyer, Charlotte Harris, and recently P. C. Cast and Kristen Cast, I've probably forgot more about games then most know, and it you name a game I've probably played them.
Oh one thing about the House of Night series, I live in Oklahoma, I only started to ready the House of Night series because of this, and with the knowledge of some of the places that were in the story made it real to me. It's like Twilight, I was stationed while I was in the Army at Fort Lewis, Washington, I could see many mistakes she had made, I mean the story to me was very good. But being an Infantryman I was very privy to the terrain, we used to have a saying. ' It rain three hundred sixty-four days a year, and the other day it snowed.'
She missed the bogs, the giant ant hills, bigger then the termite mounds in Africa, how trees seemed to fall on their own, and the green, the houses are green, the side walks are green, everything is green. If you ever get to go there you'll see this, but then you'll see how majestic the woods are, the trees grow higher then any place in the United States. It's truly beautiful, just like the people here in Oklahoma, I'm sure you've heard about people having their Christmas's stolen, well here in Oklahoma they will only not have a Christmas for less then an hour, it's truly marvelous how the people come together here.
I use the picture of Carlisle because I'm probably closer to him, my favorite characters are of course Alice, and Stevie Rae Johnston. Even though I was born in Detroit, Michigan, if you heard me talk I would probably sound like Stevie Rae than a Detroit-er. But as I've lived a lot of places I'm really eclectic in my knowledge, with people and places, I've thought about putting a lot of these places in my stories. But there's a problem with Detroit, it's a very dangerous place, I think it's more dangerous than New York, and yes I've been there also, only on leave though.
