Author has written 3 stories for Janet Evanovich.
I'm a Stay-at-Home-Mom with a big Stephanie Plum addiction. Actually, if you want to get technical, it's more of a very large, full-scale Ranger addiction. My husband listens to me squeal and swoon over Evanovich's books and now Plum Fanfiction, which I think he's ok with because he gets full control over the remote now. He even tolerates my telling him some of the stories I've read (well, most of the time).
I'm absolutely in awe of the writing/story-telling abilities of the authors on FF. BRAVO to everyone. If Evanovich can't see that Ranger and Stephanie need to have more than that one, totally awesome night together (Hard Eight around page 268 (paperback), I believe?... not that I look at it once or twice a week or anything...), at least there's a place where people can come and make it their own reality. I will gladly fill my kindle with these stories before I put another total let-down on there.
I believe that Lean Mean Thirteen should have been totally devoted to a romantic relationship between S&R. In Eleven on Top (when Ranger found her in Spiro's house stuffed into the cabinet, and thought for a second that she was dead) the feelings should've started really solidifying. Twelve Sharp I thought *THIS IS IT!* They're going to take down the Un-Ranger and he'll see her love for him - FOR CRYIN' OUT LOUD the last line in the book is "One Ranger is all you'll ever need!" I thought by #13 they'd be in a relationship of more than just stolen kisses and innuendos, he'd have told her how it felt when he thought she was dead, or how much he loved her for her role in finding Julie.
Sorry - am I ranting? Anyway...
Keep writing, everyone! I love it all!
