Author has written 3 stories for Ghostbusters.
My name is Jody. Age? Let’s just say that I am a little younger then Harold Ramis and leave it at that. I have written many short articles and poems for newspapers and publications in the past. The story Egon’s Past is my first attempt at a short story. In my spare time I hope to write some more stories about Ray Stantz, Echo/Daniel and of course my favorite Egon Spengler and his beloved Eden.
I, like Harold Ramis, never liked the pairing of Egon and Janine. I know some people will hate me for saying that, sorry. I liked the Janine/Louis pairing better. I watched the cartoons of the Ghostbusters when they came out until I had to go to college and then only caught them sometimes. Never saw the Extreme Ghostbusters cartoon until this year. I have taken some leeway with the time frame, as I don’t think anyone at the age of 39/40 would retire that early. Egon said this in the Extreme Ghostbusters, so I moved the year up to when I thought the original team would have retired.
I also play many musical instruments. In the third grade I started with the piano. The sixth grade brought the clarinet into my life. Only last year I picked up the cello. Much like Doctor Spengler I started with the Bach Cello Suites. Not knowing that a first year student wasn’t suppose to even attempt them, so my teacher said, I am still plowing through them today. I have uploaded one of my recitals’ on You tube if interested, just drop me a line. On a side note I play the saxophone and violin, just not as good.
I sang professional with the Nevada Opera Society in Las Vegas, Nevada where I grew up. There isn’t an Opera or Musical that I haven’t heard or sang in. Today I work in a Veterinarian’s office and in the evenings work for my local theater groups, either singing or costuming. I have won many awards for costuming and my clothing that I make. Check under SanJohn on deviantART for my costumes and clothing.
Oh, in case you think I have “Tons” of free time. I am a single mother of three children and one black dog. Those can be another child unto themselves.
