Author has written 2 stories for Lord of the Rings.
Hello! I'm Ms. Authoress and this is my writing paradise!
Writing is my passion. I have been writing for nearly ten years now, and I yearn to improve through my journey with my stories. I hope to become a published author one day, and seek constructive criticism rather than compliments in feedback because of it. Don't get me wrong; compliments about my story is nice but I would also like to know what the reader likes about it, and anything else that might help me improve if improvement is needed. That being said, I will always review your story if I read it. Because I feel authors these days are not encouraged by others, or are attacked for no reason about their writing, I will always point out the positive and the negative. No story is perfect; every author has their flaws, and it is always important if someone is there to notice these and want to help, and not flame you!
My writing: I take my writing seriously. It has always been a burning passion of mine and I simply love writing. Almost always my stories are outlined, and at least a good several chapters are written and beta'd before I begin posting the story. I update the posted story once a week, following on the same day of the week the story was first posted, or will try to. But I will never go a month without posting regularly. I will never give up on my stories either; that I can promise you! I happily welcome constructive criticism, however, I find no need in flaming someones story. It is needless and rude, and it only proves you to be a jerk. Let me save you the trouble: Flames are but a feather brushing against my skin. I pay no attention to it and I really don't care what the flamer has to say because they don't have a sense of direction to let their point be know, because in fact they have no point. Only rudeness. Flaming does not bother me and it will be ignored.
My Pinterest - I don't understand the purpose of Pinterest. I think it is a copy of Tumblr - which I love - and lacks a bit. I may make a Tumblr for my writing (containing manipulations to give a clearer vision of what goes on in the scene, and the emotion that is felt between the characters, along with graphics of the pairings), but for now I will use Pinterest. - http://www.pinterest.com/maelizzy/
About my ongoing projects as of 11/11/14 (arranged in terms of priority):
Lord of the Rings:
Arnor's Hope - In progress:
Scars - In progress:
The Runekeeper - Rough outline:
Dreams of Blood and Bone - Not yet outlined:
The Heir - Rough outline:
Prequel to The Ranger. The hope that had been lost was forgotten. The race of Men clung to a thin thread of hope, if any at all still remained hopeful. But the birth of Isildur’s Heir rekindled that hope, shining like a bright beacon in the midst of a blurry of snow. And she would bring the light into the darkness that Middle-Earth had been covered in – until the day of the destruction of the One Ring would come. This is the telling of Araniel, daughter of Arathorn, and her life from birth to becoming a Ranger of the North, through travels and trial, and love. Elladan/OC
