A note on links: links in profile/bio pages can be used these days if you're clever. Just click on the link, and FFN will take you to a page where it will say, "Oops! We cannot find this page." Ignore that - look at the bottom line of text on the page. The first part of it is the url of the profile page. The second half (right after the long string of numbers) is your link. Select that half of the text and drag it to your address bar or copy and paste it. This works for both the mobile and the desktop site (just not, unfortunately, when I'm actually using a phone). If you were not redirected to a different page, look in your address bar. The link should be up there, instead - just delete what's in front of it. Note: this seems to work for most computers, but not for phones. Could someone give me feedback about tablets?
A note on selecting text: a story's text can only be selected on the mobile site. This is handy if you want to do a word search or for some reason need to save part of a story offline (just remember, you didn't write it, so don't use it to steal or plagiarize someone else's time, effort, and intellectual property). To change from desktop mode to mobile, just head into the address bar and delete the "https:", backslashes, and "www". Type an "m," so that the address reads: m.fanfiction... To change from mobile to desktop mode, delete from the "https" through the "m," and type "www" instead. This is really handy when you want to quote a sentence from a fic in your review, but it's a long quote. It also only takes two seconds to select the characters, type a character, and press the enter key. Ah, convenience.

I see you have a lot of self-insert fics, but the characters don't seem to be the same. Why's that?
-I only have one true self-insert story, and that's Kakashi's Kid. The others simply use the concept of adding someone from the real world. For instance, Misunderstandings uses a completely original character. Ever a Sweeter Road is, again, an unrelated character. I think The Eyes Have It appears to be a SI, but it's not. The OC in it was simply a means to an end, to be honest. I never even based that personality off of something . . . which is why it works with Itachi so well.
No doubt, there are similarities among my main OCs, but I don't really care. I don't have to write contrasting main characters, and if I'm having fun, and more importantly, if those personalities work the best with my writing style, I don't see a problem. They're all distinctly different, anyway. But really, using a true self-insert in every story does not appeal to me at all. (answered 2-16-17)
I believe in Jesus Christ the Lord as my Saviour and redeemer, and could not live without Him in my life. If you do too, and aren't afraid to admit it, copy and paste this into your profile, and add your name to the list. Kakashis-First-Kiss, jedigal125, iloveJacobandJasper, Vampirewithasecret, Lacey-The-Invisible-Ninja, James018, AdorableElephant, MelRose520, I am an Anonymous Person, WingedPurpleBookWorm4Life, FluteFishySmart, Pirate-Spy-Demigod-Wizard, Sweetpanda12, SamCarter121314, Gigigue, Epic Elven Warrior Princess, TimeyWimeyGirl, OneSizeFitsAll, Isis the Sphinx, MerlinStar, shootingstarsonmars, Rousdower, Fifekun, ThePhantominthemists, Silimaira
My writing will reflect the consequences visible in real life. As humans, we do wrong things, and my characters will be held accountable for their misdeeds. I refuse to glorify flaws or sins. Reading is a powerful tool and one of the many ways we can learn to distinguish right from wrong. In light of this fact, my writing will never include strong language or describe things that should happen in private. I also choose not to portray relationships that are not between one male and one female.
To any who have taken offense: First and foremost, God loves you. His commandment to Christians is to love all in the world, and while some days I struggle with this, I can still say that I would never mean to offend someone that I love. Jesus Christ (who loves you more than you can even love yourself) died for the sin of all mankind. If you repent of your sin and ask Him to save you, you will no longer be condemned to an eternity of torment (the wages of sin) and will instead live forever with the One who created you (the only One that can fill the longing, searching who-am-I-why-am-I-here-how-can-I-feel-loved drive that all humans have). I'm sorry if I offended you, but I cannot apologize for something so important. You see, one day time will end, and the drive that has fueled humanity's search for immortality will be fulfilled. Which do you choose: eternal life or eternal judgment?
I know there are many on this site who trust in God as I do, and if you are one of those, I greet you in the love of our Savior. If you are looking for companionship, or perhaps are in need of encouragement, feel free to PM me. The same applies to everyone, of course.
Kakashi's Kid (Naruto)
My main story! It's been described as funny, slice-of-life, well-characterized, and a bunch of other things, too. If you think Kakashi needs a cute kid, go read it! Or if you like the thought of a sarcastic, wordplay kind of narrator. There's more than that, of course, and there are actually things that set it apart from other Naruto SI fics. You'll just have to read it to find them.
Sidestory: Handling Hatake
TV Tropes page: Kakashi's Kid (Trouble with the link? Head to the top of this page and read my guide about FFN links)
Fanart: Hatake Family Snapshot (Trouble with the link? Look up a line.)
Current status: Almost halfway with the rough draft!
The Eyes Have It (Naruto)
Currently a two-out-of-three-shot, this is a story about Itachi. If you don't like Itachi—if you do—if you're ambiguous—yes, well that could go on forever. This is a unique story, and it's actually canon compliant (nothing goes against canon, not even dialogue). So, how can there be a ton of sneaky, snarky, humorous Itachi in those terrifying scenes he stars* in? Well, I won't stop you from finding out.
.* OC included. Does not contain mindless copy-and-paste text. Some strings attached. Mostly heartstrings.
Suggested music: "Strangers" by Kush Mode, Watsky, and Leah Goldman (recommended by Junipearlee)
Fanart: Anything with a Sharingan counts! ;)
Clan Uchibi (Naruto)
Ain't nobody knows. No, but really, this is the one fic you'll find where Itachi lives happily ever after, marries that OC (hang in there for a second), and has a houseful of kids. Or a clanful of kids. Basically, they've got the majority vote in everything ever now, and yes, you've always wanted to see Itachi loving on more than just Sasuke. I mean, fluff, crack, drama, maybe a plot if readers want one—well, what's to stop you from clicking that link? By the way, this is one of those girl-wakes-up-in-fantasy stories again. Eh, let it not be said that I'm original. Hey, I can do what I want within the realms of fanfiction!
Ever a Sweeter Road (Lord of the Rings)
If you like the girl-falls-into-Middle-Earth premise, go read this one! Seriously, *mutters* something about the summary must really be putting people off. The view count alone! Ahem, as for plot. A-girl-wakes-up-as-a-very-young-Finduilas, who is the lady who married Denethor. I know, right? It's got to be a lousy story! Who even knows who Finduilas is? Precisely what the main character thinks. And yet somehow, this story manages to be canon compliant (nothing goes against canon) and have a believable romance! So you should read it, 'cause who knew Denethor could, you know, be in the previous sentence? As a bonus, I've done my best to nod to Tolkien with a similar writing style.
If you're looking for male Naruto SI fics, head over to testdrive's community for them. There are over one hundred stories! A far cry from the literal thousands of female SI's, but still pretty sizable. (https://www.fanfiction.net/community/Male-Self-Inserts/122865/)
