Merry Early Christmas dahlings!

STARTING WORK NOW for the next chapter of Friends First, Benefits Second!
I missed you all! More will be coming as soon as I possibly can! Mwah!
Heeyyy! Never really know what to put in the "About Me" section so here's just some quick basics on myself!
Name: On here I usually just go by Schweetie
Age/Occupation (Kinda-Not-Really): 23, my golden year ;) Proud GRADUATE. Full-time big girl job acquired in a place that I love.
Favorite FanFic genres: I love love LOVE stories about The Boondocks, Riley&Cindy especially. Other sideline guilty pleasures include The Lion King, Kingdom Hearts fanfics, and a bunch of others about old 90s shows that used to make... my life. Powerpuff Girls, Hey Arnold, Rugrats and many more are included in this extensive list... don't judge me.
(New) A few things I love about FanFiction in general:
The community - I really do feel that there's a good sense of community between myself and a lot of the readers of my story and with authors of stories that I read. We review each others work, we PM each other, we bond, and we make friends. I think it's awesome. I know I've got some FanFic besties on here that I know I'd be kickin' it with in real life. We're that tight XD
The freedom - You don't really have any type of bounds here on this site (aside from the rules & regulations you have to abide by to publish certain material. lol). You're literally free to write whatever you want and be as creative as you want with no limits. I'm so glad I decided to take a chance to let my imagination fly with mine :)
(New) A few things that kinda-sorta annoy me on FanFiction at times:
The Swagger-Jack Piggybackers - Now... I realize that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery... that's all well and good. But sometimes it's like... c'mon. Really though? Any fool can see (especially a person that's read a lot of similar stories on the site) that you got that EXACT idea from somebody else. Yes, there's a such thing as a coincidence or that "great minds think alike" but when it happens 3,4,7,8,9 times... you're pushing it. Ooh, that makes me mad. I've never done it intentionally and never will. PROMISE.
Rudeness - Probably one of my biggest. Bambi taught me that if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all. And I'm not just talking about my stories (I have some really really AMAZING reviewers, knock on wood *knocks*), but anywhere. Anytime I see a mean review on a story, I want to just go take my bat and find somebody. I don't care how "bad" you think somebody's work is, it's still their work, their creativity, and their baby that they're brave enough to show to the world. Constructive criticism is one thing, but if you honestly can't find at least ONE thing that you like about somebody else's story or see room for potential, don't leave a comment at all.
My first was a Riley&Cindy oneshot (it's actually a two-shot if you wanna get technical) songfic called Think Like A Man, based on the song (not the movie, lol). It was seriously the most random spur-of-the-moment idea, but it lead me to get ideas to the story I'm into now.
A few months ago I finished my major project entitled Babysitting With Uncle Reezy, about Riley's altered life now as an uncle to Huey & Jazmine's child. It is a humor and romance theme after a certain somebody was added to the story (Cindy obviously). I'm proud to say that I've gotten a really good reception on this story, so I am working on the sequel to it now :)
Bonus: There is also a special one-shot of Riley & Cindy that goes along with B.W.U.R! It's called Their Night ;)
I'm currently working on a friends w/ benefits story between Riley & Cindy called Friends First, Benefits Second. This story is about how the two best friends delve into new boundaries after a night of drunken sex. They don't want to jeopardize their friendship... but can't help but notice that their time together was amazing. They decide to give a FWB thing a chance. They know the mistakes the movies made. They can handle it without catching feelings. What could possibly go wrong?
- After I complete From Uncle Reezy, To Daddy Reezy, I have many one/two-shots lined up to follow and spin off from it :) :) :)
- Eventually I want to get around to making a Huey&Jazmine story, I just have to think of a good idea for it. If I do, I want it to be separate from B.W.U.R
- Don't hate me, but I also wanna try my hand at doing an unofficial relationship story, preferably Riley&Jazmine. I guiltily love these pairings just because this one isn't TOO far fetched. Riley and Jazmine were friends (kinda) in the show, there's an easy plot for the love triangle, and let's face it: good girls love bad boys ;)
I am also very open to taking requests for oneshots/short stories. I love doing that sort of thing so hit me up on here and let me know! I'd be happy too. :)
Any more questions, just message me or leave a review! I love talking to and meeting new people. That's all for now! Cheers!! :)
And PS: Shoutout to my fellow Boondocks veterans that I love to death and have some pretty kickass stories (alphabetically): Che Black Diamond, Dave The Wordsmith, Jazavelli, LovinHueyFreeman, Miss Ace Thank You, Mr. Alaska, Paige1292, SweetDreamsAreMadeOfMe, taydo-the-potato. #TheCrew #OneLove
Disclaimer: The cover art for Babysitting With Uncle Reezy/Their Night/From Uncle Reezy, To Daddy Reezy was originally created by Xailing of DeviantArt; The art for Friends First, Benefits Second was created by bobtheacorn, also of DeviantArt. Check them both out! :) Also don't own any Boondocks material at all... or Bambi :)
