Author has written 18 stories for DragonFable, Inheritance Cycle, Final Fantasy VII, Mirror Mirror, Doctor Who, and Hetalia - Axis Powers.
This account is dead. Art and college stuff has taken over, and I'm unable to write anymore. :) Sorry, guys. I probably won't be back.
I'll also be removing one or two fanfictions I'd prefer to keep, and maybe reupload somewhere else at a later date. Y'know, when I can spend some time fixing them up.
Catch you later... maybe. ;D
Hi there. :3
I'm Juliet'sReplacement, am an avid lover of Dragonfable, Kingdom Hearts, and and Final Fantasy VII. Nice to meet you!
Name: You can call me Ari (a variation of my name) or Juliet, if you prefer. :)
Gender: I... am a LADEH.
Age: Sweet 16!
Birthday: I was born on January 14th.
Hobbies: Writing, reading, sketching, drawing, setting fire to things (or people, occasionally), and playing basketball from time to time. Also zoning out, brainstorming, and surfing the web in my spare time.
Pets: Two German Shepherds (Mika, the sped, and Reiker, my precious baby), six Betta fish (for the males, in separate tanks, the one is known to all as Mr Sexy for no particular reason and the other is named Ostrich, and is a peacock in disguise. Then four females in one tank; Athena, Ember, Kajira, and Ginseng. They get along), and one horse (Ace).
Personality: (Please note these are my own observations. I have flaws just like everybody else, and I recognize the ones I can.) I'm a little bit spazzy, and have ADHD to be paired with a short attention span. I have a bit of trouble holding on to long projects, in part because they never actually get off the ground. When it comes to peoples' preferences, I'm very nonjudgmental and try to hear others out. To counter that, however, I can also have a one-track mind, and sometimes I just need to make mistakes for myself before believing others. I sometimes tend to charge in without thinking, and I practically live by the quote "It's better to beg forgiveness than to ask permission." I'm quick to draw conclusions about people when I first meet them, but I'm not afraid of changing those conclusions the better I get to know them. I love meeting new people, but I often have difficulty remembering names of said new people. I like trying to help if I think I can, and if I don't think I can, I just stay the hell out of the situation.
I support homosexuals, and that means yaoi and yuri. I don't have a problem with people who write it and support it. They're just writing what they like, and that's what fiction writing is for.
If you don't support either, then that's up to you. :)
If I ever submit a review to a story, any criticism in it will be constructive. I don't typically review, though... I do a lot less than I should. There are so many amazing fanfictions out there that deserve reviews, and to dispel any false ideas, I'm not talking about mine. :) I'm honest in reviews. I know several people who are as well, and most are my friends.
Likewise, any reviews I receive on my stories don't all have to be praise. I'm only human. :) However, I DO expect criticism to be mature and well-thought-out, and WITHOUT getting personal. If it's legitimate criticism of the story and not just an insult to me, I'll be happy to leave it up there. :) I can accept criticism. I just refuse to put up with them when it gets personal.
I love to write, and not just fanfictions, though I am fiercely protective of my fanfiction Zhi Lao'Hu.
I firmly believe that a good story (fanfiction or no) is similar to a child. It grows to be what you shape it into, and often takes its own shape halfway through. Zhi Lao'Hu is my firstborn of these. :) Golden Touch is growing, but isn't anywhere near the point where it can stand on its own legs just yet.
I love watching many types of anime, and am open to new suggestions. However, there are a few that I may just refuse to watch because I'm a stubborn, mule-headed woman.
I've enjoyed watching:
And a couple others. They are not listed in order of favorites, just in the order I could think of them.
I'm also on DeviantArt, so if you want to contact me there or see my (fail) art, go right ahead and ask! I'll send you a link.
STORIES I'M WORKING WITH OR HAVE FINISHED: (Both on-site and off)
Truth or Dare- With Juliet: Dragonfable. Artix and Magiya are somehow roped into a truth or dare show with one snarky, devious hostess who has sat down to tea with Satan more than she ought. Submit questions or dares through PMs or reviews, and see the stars answer them!
Golden Touch: Dragonfable. Calliope is a lady Warrior who has high-set ambitions. She gets all she can out of life, and is bright-hearted. And she's a girl who can slay her own dragons... right? Right... until a certain Captain comes along. Now being updated every other week.
The Ungreat Unknown: Unwritten. Doctor Who. Jo is a small-town girl working in an auto shop when one day, one of the cars decides to have a mind of its own. From there, everything she ever knew is being forced to change around her. As long as it's changing... there's nothing wrong with going along for the ride, and maybe making a rulebook while she's at it. After all, the Doctor's rules had to come from somewhere, right?
Cleaning: One-shot. Final Fantasy VII. Barret's got the kids for the day, and Tifa wants to take the opportunity of their not being under her feet to clean the bar. Unfortunately (or fortunately), things don't go as planned. Fluff, galore!
Thrill of the Hunt: One-shot. Mirror Mirror. Possible missing scene from the one fight between Snow and Alcott. Sometimes, expressions and eyes can say more than words ever could.
Heart's Hopscotch: One-shot. Doctor Who. Possible missing scene from "The Shakespeare Code." Occurs after Bad Wolf explanation! Spoilers.
Zhi Lao'Hu: COMPLETED. Dragonfable. A female Mage named Magiya has grown wary of the world, and refuses to change. But when she meets a Paladin who gives her no chance to keep him out, she may not have a choice.
Not a Word, One Morning, Nobody Wants to Be Lonely, One Moment Among Many, Save Me Please, Troubled Minds, Nightmares, Unexpected Meeting, Through His Head: OLD. Final Fantasy VII. Random ficlets about Cloud and Tifa. All are aged things I've written, please excuse the atrocious nature of most of them.
You're Not Alone: OLD. The Inheritance Series. This pathetic thing was the second or third thing I published on here. It does not at ALL capture the attitudes of any of the characters, and only read if you want your brain to start melting out your ears. READERS BEWARE.
Love and Loss: OLD. Only read if you want to feel better about your own fanfictions. READERS BEWARE.
If you like, go right on and ask if I've got anything else planned that's not up here. ;) Sure, I'll tell you, but I'm not spilling the specifics!
Anyways, if you've got any questions, I'll be happy to answer them, so feel free to PM me and ask. But consider yourself warned: I am a spelling and grammar Nazi. Contact at your own risk. :)
My name is Juliet'sReplacement, and it's a pleasure to meet you.
2/5/13: I realized it might be helpful for others if you all could see the websites I use to help me over the bumps and potholes in the road of writing. :)
:) I hope these help!
3/17/13: Hey guys! It just occurred to me that, as I have seen some other writers do, it might be cool for you to see what actors I would pick to play the part in a fanfiction. :) To me, it's not saying that the characters look like these actors, not by any means-- it's more saying, "This is the pool of actors/actresses I have to choose from if I want to imagine this would be made into a movie. Let's see who best resembles the real-life version of my character."
Brendon Thwaites (as Artix):
Alexis Bledel (as Magiya):
Like I said, it's a pretty fun little project, and I thought you guys might like to see my results. :)
6/5/13: Wow. This is quite a bit late. Anywho, some time back, my friend MusicalPoetess and I started a collab account where we write Hetalia stuff about Germany and Prussia, and also take requests. :) It's essentially an account where we can spaz together about mutual loves for fandoms and write for others if they ask. It's here, and has a short bio for each of us:
We don't check it as often as our personal accounts, but it IS active. And on that note, go check out some of Poetess' stuff! It's amazing, honest! (BTW, the Awesome being capitalized is an inside joke. ")
Anyway, later, my freaky darlings! :D
