Author has written 12 stories for Chronicles of Narnia, and Anne of Green Gables series.
You can call me either lovenarnia, my pen name, or Alyssa. It's not my real name, but it works.
I wish to say, first and foremost, that I am a Christian. It defines who I am, what I do, and what I read.
That being said, I will not write or read slash or incest. I also do not appreciate coarse language.
Fast facts about me:
I live in a rather uninteresting place.
I have a rather uninteresting life.
My elvish name is Alatáriël Calaelen (according to a name generator, anyway).
I do not own a television or a cell phone.
I do not have an iPod, an iPhone, or anything else beginning with i
When I see a racoon coming round the corner of my house at night, I ask it what it's doing here and fully expect it to answer me. (Shows how much Narnia can corrupt your street smarts.)
I enjoy reading clever disclaimers on fanfics.
My favorite things to do:
Reading anything I can get my hands on, particularly well-written books on Creation and its defence.
Playing the piano and violin.
Writing stories, both for fanfiction and otherwise. I am working on publishing my first book.
I enjoy watching both the Disney/Fox/Walden Media Narnia films and BBC's The Silver Chair.
My favorite fantasy realm:
Narnia and its surrounding countries
My favorite Narnian characters:
1. Edmund Pevensie
2. Lucy Pevensie
3. King Tirian
The things I enjoy doing in my fanfics:
Looking at main characters through the eyes of a (preferably male and therefore more down-to-earth) OC or minor character such as
. . . . . . . . . . .Newkirk in The Tale of a Displaced Monarch
. . . . . . . . . . .Alberta in The Change of Eustace Scrubb
Putting twists on things we've all seen before, such as observing the to-and-from Narnia from an outside view
The things I hate about the Narnia fandom:
i dont liek misp3ld adn/ro mispunc5ueted storys!11!
C.S. Lewis' characters using coarse language
Authors who describe Aslan as having a "cute face"
Squeals. As in "this is the squeal to my other story." Is it that hard to rearrange some letters for "sequel?" Really?
Thanks for reading!
