Author has written 8 stories for Harry Potter, and X-Men: The Movie. Hi everyone! I'm not one here much anymore, so I thought I'd add a bit concerning your requests to translate this story or produce any transformative works related to it: As long as you give credit to the original story and send me the link (via pm and if you want in a review, so that other readers can see it), I'm very happy for you to take this story and build on it. I also haven't forgotten my long ago promise to edit my stories and upload them on ao3. You can find me with the same profile name there - "Had I Known" and "Petals" is already uploaded, and as soon as I can manage, the others will follow. The most important thing: I can't thank you enough for still reading and loving these stories after all these years. You have been so generous with your reviews and it makes me proud that my fiction has touched you in whatever small a way. Thank you for telling me about it, and thank you for keeping these characters alive! The very best wishes, Kayly (autumn 2022) xXx When a Lioness Fights: This was my first ever story on this site, and I'm giving you fair warning: Neither plot or characterisation is very good in the beginning (in my opinion, parts of the first twenty chapters are quite cringeworthy). You'll also notice that my English wasn't quite up to standards yet, although I'm glad to say that all these problems improved as the story came along. I always meant to fix it at some point, but I just haven't the time for such a huge project, so please take it or leave it as it is. This is a finished story, and no sequels are planned so far (though I might find the energy for a thorough proofreading and mistake-fixing one of these days). But whenever the fancy strikes me, oneshots will be added to the Lioness-verse under the title of "What Doesn't Kill You Makes You Granger". Look out for it, but don't expect regular updates. xXx Due to recent events, let me offer a word concerning reviews and my opinion about them: I love it when you review, and I read every single one of your comments, even though I usually don't find the time to answer these days. I also do not mind criticism, even if it is harsh. Please try to give it in a way that is actually constructive ("Your story is rubbish" does not help me, so please add at least a "because"). What I will not tolerate, however, are personal attacks against me. You don't know me, and you have no right to "deduce" facts about me from my stories (apart from my (in)ability to use the English language). Reviews that insult me will be deleted. I have never had reason to do this before today, but unfortunately someone always has to spoil it for the rest of us. Wishing you all the best, Kayly |
