Author has written 3 stories for Shake It Up!, and Anastasia. I have been trying to make a profile for weeks but it is so embarrassing. So, anyway, I am a grown-up TM still obsessed with the Disney princesses, it is very embarrassing, but I guess so is being obsessed with any other piece of media. Snow White, Aurora, Cinderella, and Ariel are my favorites, in that order; I love all of them though, including the newest ones like Moana. I shipped Ariel and Eric before I even knew what shipping was, but I ship all of the princesses with their canonical love interests just as hard because I am THAT easy to please. The only exception is John Rolfe, lets all pretend Pocahontas 2 didn't happen please, yes? Thank you. Just me venting: - The Prince of Snow White wasn't committing necrophilia you edgy weirdos, he simply had a crush on her and gave her a small Peck on the lips to say goodbye, then he started grieving because he had been looking for her, a living breathing girl, for months. He serenaded her in the beginning and they were cute together, it is a fairytale, not meant to be realistic. Also, Snow White was an abused 14-year-old child who was kind, loving, responsible, positive, and optimistic even when confronted with attempted murder, I wish I could be just as nice washing the dishes. She had a very cute personality and her voice wasn't annoying you guys are just mean (It is ok if you don't like her voice but I love it). She literally BOSSED the dwarves around in their own home, don't give me that stupid "the classic princesses didn't have personalities" bullshit to me. - The joke that Aurora loves sleeping is stupid, she basically got the magic equivalent of a roofie. Stop blaming the victim guys! Also, the damsel in distress trope is romantic and never done in today's media without some sort of "subversion" to "fix it" or "make it more acceptable to modern audiences". Sue me but I like romance stories with a real damsel in distress in them once in a while, no subversions. Prince Philip slaying a scary-ass giant firebreathing dragon for her woman tops any drama-filled romance in modern media "Change my mind meme". Also, I love How to Train your Dragon, but why does every dragon in media nowadays, sadly including Maleficent, have to be some sad tragic misunderstood majestic creature? Why is there some kind of sacred fear of showing them getting slain the old way with a sword? What happened to the days they literally ate and roasted people alive and kept princesses locked in towers? Why is this whole "the humans are the real monsters" thing so prevalent and repetitive now? Why don't you make them more scary-looking? I am bored. - Cinderella didn't want to get married, she simply went to the ball to have a Good time for once in her miserable life, she just ended up also getting a hot rich guy and escaping her abusive family life "Good for her meme". - Ariel didn't give up on everything for a guy, she always wanted to explore the human world, her crush on Eric just pushed her to do it and she wouldn't have been so impulsive if it wasn't for her father's lack of support for her interests and hobbies. I also like other stuff like ATLA, Harry Potter, Inuyasha, the MCU, Game of Thrones, Star Wars, Glee, The Hunger Games, and if you see something in my favorites I also like that, I just forgot to put it. I also don't have favorite fanfictions of everything I like because I am lazy when it comes to looking for them or even reading them sometimes, lol. Rocky and Gunther (Runther) from Disneys "Shake it up!" Will always have a special place in my heart, they introduced me to the painful concept of shipping things that don't become canon. I made a small one-shot for them when I was about 14 or 15 years old. I am a salty Zutara shipper who is still mad at the ATLA ending. One of the reasons I don't like Legend of Korra that much is because it makes it official Zutara isn't canon. I don't tolerate Aang-bashing though, he is a precious cinnamon roll, and he is only 12 all right! He is a baby! He makes mistakes! You can love Zutara and also love Aang. I love Anastasia, both the movie and the musical, but I love the real last Romanovs they are based on the most. OTMAA all deserved better, they were innocent of any wrongdoing and I would change places with any of them if given the chance. No one can change my mind about that. I made an alternative history fic about OTMAA (Bulletproof Jewels), it was made more with the purpose of taking advantage of how interesting their personalities were in real life by using them as characters for an adventure/dark drama type story than to give them happy endings, it is not something I would have actually wanted for them, except for the "surviving Ekaterinburg" part. Hell yes, I would have wanted that particular part to be real. But my fic is less of a "fix-it" and more of a "ruin it in a different way" fic. Although they will eventually have happy yet bittersweet endings. Right now this story is on hiatus, but I definitely haven't abandoned it. I am just working on the prequel first (Home, Love, Family). I am just trying something new, the first three chapters used to be part of the first fic, but I removed them, in case anyone is confused. |
