The Hazel Purple Skyline (This was my penname for a lonnng time. But now it feels tacky and I don't really like it anymore. I don't think that many people know this one either because I'm generally a quiet person.)

Hi, person behind screen. I don't even know if I should have an Internet name because what does that even mean. Just call me by my penname. Plus, hard to keep track and stuff. Welcome to my not-quite-profile.
THIS WILL BE THE GENERAL DISCLAIMER. I DON'T OWN THE ORIGINAL CHARACTERS AND PLOT PENNED BY THE ORIGINAL AUTHOR. I OWN MY FICS.

I quote people a lot. At least three times a day.
As a reader of FanFiction, I mostly look for new ideas, new plots that are not clichéd, and vivid descriptions. I just don't like the stories that go like this:"Oh no! I love him! What should I do? Oh, I'll just approach him and talk about and turns out he likes me too then we go and make-out.". I look for characterization and background, and strong, whirlwinds of emotions. 'Cause that's what life is like.
Honestly, if a person my age can identify these problems and fix them, it should be as easy as breathing for you people out there.
I understand spelling errors sometimes, because I'm horrible at spelling myself. But grammar?
The thing is, grammar wouldn't even really bother me if the story had an actually interesting plot, because even if English isn't your first language you could still express your ideas.
Oh, and there are always the lovely people we call 'betas'.
Seriously, I'm just tired of all the PJO stories where there's some drama at camp and everyone, just everyone is oohing and aahing with it.
As a writer for FanFiction, well, let's just say that I haven't been publishing as much as I'd like to be. I'm still trying everything out, figuring out my strengths and weakness with words... I'm Ariel looking for her voice. I dunno, maybe you could drop a review or PM and tell me what you like? ;)
Enough about me.
Well technically the quotes I like are still about me.
A book should serve as an ice-axe to break the frozen sea within us. Franz Kafka
Words are, of course, the most powerful drug used by mankind. Rudyard Kipling
But beware you be not swallowed up in books!
I would rather be ashes than dust!
- Jack London
The funny thing about losing is that life goes on. - Hazuki Goldair
"She lives within the darkest crevices of her heart, dusty pages and bitten pencils. She's looking for someone, someone to bustle among her heart, and quietly, just gently turn on the lights." Whale
:3 :> ._.
Just as when we come into the world, when we die we are afraid of the unknown. But the fear is something form within us that has nothing to do with reality. Dying is like being born: just a change. ISABEL ALLENDE
There is a boy who never returns his library books. Do not give him your heart—it is unlikely for you to ever see it again. – Lang Leav
