Author has written 5 stories for Hawaii Five-0, and Hawaii Five-O.
I've been a fan of fanfic since I discovered the plethora of stories that followed in the wake of The Lord of The Rings (both FPS and RPS). But as the movies got older the stories seemed to dry up as authors moved on to more relevant topic that I could not seem to get into. So it was with sadness that I gave up on reading fanfic a few years back.
But then, what's that? The slashiest TV show ever appeared (it helped that I finally got cable as well). . . Hawaii Five-0! And the world started spinning once again.
I've always been a lurker. Yes, I know. Shame on me. But now I've finally sucked it up and attempted to write again. Something I used to love doing back when I was half my current age. When I believed that I had a story to tell and I hadn't become jaded yet. So I've been working on witing snippets here and there, but they all seemed so trite and quite frankly obnoxious. But when I allowed my dismal outlook to creep into my writing, I actually (read: kinda) liked what I saw. That is your heads up, my dear readers. You will find pleanty of angst, hurt/comfort, whumpage, drama, angst, violence, maybe a smattering of romance and some serious ANGST within my stories. I just can't seem to be funny. Sorry. Did I mention the angst? I did? Oh, sorry. . .again.
A bit about me, you ask . . .hmmm . . . well I live in middle America, where I am held hostage daily by my two feline friends, Emma and Ollie. I work as a bartender, a job that has caused me to misplace my rose-colored glasses. I love crossword puzzles, I have a double degree in Art History and History, which qualifies me to be a bartender, I am learning to speak Hawaiian (which is easier than teaching youself Scots-Gaellic, believe me), I have never seen the ocean (something I plan to remedy within the next year or two), and I ate sushi for the first time ever on my last birthday . . . and I liked it.
I invite all constructive criticism, grammar, spelling, tense, and punctuation fix-its as well. I have serious love for run-on sentences and commas, both bad habits, I know :) I will attempt to always flag my stories appropriately, so that there are no surprises. If you do not like what you are reading, I ask nicely that you either close the window or navigate back to a previous page. In other words, I would appreciate it if you left derogatory or flaming comments to yourselves. Please respect everyone for their input and leave hostilites at the door. Thank you and have fun reading all the wonderful stories out there. - stella
