Author has written 13 stories for A Nightmare on Elm Street, Batman, Mythology, James Bond, Harry Potter, Everybody Hates Chris, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, and Doctor Who.
I am an big fan of many comic books, books and movies and look forward to writing fanfics about them. I am always making new stories when I get inspired so sometimes I don't update stories for a while. If you want an update review or pm.
My OC protagonists
My favorite fiction
Lord of the Rings
The Walking Dead
My Pet peeves
AU I don't like changing an author's work where I don't like it. I prefer to build upon the canon with a story that can follow up the fiction. (ex. next gen hp)
OOC Unless you have a convincing story line to back it up I'm not buying Luna Lovegood as a child abuser.
Random pairings I don't care how you want Draco to hook up with Hermione sooo much. It doesn't make sense.
GIME This is specific to Lord of the Rings fics where a Mary sue falls into Middle Earth and hooks up with Legolas. I hate this for so many reasons but most importantly one of the thing Tolkien specifically said he didn't like about Narnia was that "you could just jump from world to world". So you are dishonoring his memory. If he was alive and saw what was going on he would be on the list of authors whose work is prohibited from being written as fanfiction.
Things I like:
Author's notes. Lots of people hate them but I like learning info and having a more personal connection to the author.
One more thing:
I am an obsessive when it comes to fan fiction and other writing. I will constantly change grammar mistakes as well as plot ideas. I will always tell you of these changes either on an author's note or on my profile. I hate AU and am obsessed with following the story right. (ex. changing the coming of age for elves in my lotr fic to fit into the tolkienverse)
Hello peeps. I just changed the location of where the journey is going to in my Lord of the Rings fanfiction. Other than that it's the same so don't freak. Also no one reviewed anyway so... I don't think anyone cares. Banestar out.
Just did some restructuring of my fic Lily Potter and the Book of Curses. I combined a couple chapters which is why the chapter titles are weird. Banestar out
UPDATE: Pyramid Storm, Star Wars: Order Hero, and Gilgamesh's Blood are currently on hiatus. You will probably not get updates for these fics for a long time. If you do want an update PM me. Lily Potter and the Book of Curses and One who is at Peace are my top priorities. I'm planning to turn Lily Potter into a series but you may not see the second book for a little while. As for my other fics I'll update them soon but their not my first priority, so keep posted. Banestar out.
37 Things to do in an Elevator
1. Crack open your briefcase or handbag, peer inside and ask "Got enough air in there?"
Recently I have become obsessed with Doctor Who watching all 7 NuWho seasons in 3 months. So what's better to do on a rainy day then make a tournament of Doctor Who episodes! Here's how it works. For every season I pick my favorite episode from that season. The specials will count as their own season making 8 seasons in total. Then I'll pit them against each other in a sudden death tournament. Here we go!
Season 1: The Parting of Ways
The action, special effects and Christopher Eccleston's acting set this episode apart from the forgettable Season 1 crop
Season 2: The Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit
This is one of the first Nuwho episodes to really scare me. Great plot and great acting all around makes this the best of the 10/Rose era.
Season 3: Blink
Widely considered one of the best who episodes ever, the episode introduces the creepy Weeping Angels. With original villains and an original plot (The Doctor giving instructions by video) and solid humor this gets the top Season 3 spot even with the nonexistent romantic buildup between the main characters.
Season 4: Turn Left
A dark thriller that easily wins the top Season 4 spot. The Dark plot plus great acting from both Catherine Tate and Billie Piper. And speaking of Billie Piper Rose returns in awesome fashion in this episode! What's not to like?
Season 5: The Big Bang
A season finale to end season finales. The Doctor is at his cleverest and the stakes at their highest. It's complicated and makes little sense which makes me love it even more!
Season 6: The Girl Who Waited
In a season with emotional thrillers like a Good Man Goes to War this episode wins out. It shows the profound effect that traveling with the Doctor really has on a person. I love Older Amy's character which makes Regular Amy my least favorite version behind Young Amy and Older Amy
Season 7: Asylum of the Daleks
I don't know why people say Season 7 was so bad. There were a lot of great episodes. Still the fresh take on the Daleks and the great debut by Jenna- Louise Coleman makes this the best Season 7 episode.
Specials: Day of the Doctor
It was incredibly hard to choose between this and Time of the Doctor. But the brilliant references to the Classic series push this ahead.
Parting Of Ways vs Day of the Doctor
They both have great action and acting but the nostalgia of DOTD beats out Rose's whininess in POW
Impossible Planet/Satan Pit vs Asylum of the Daleks
Both meant to scare the viewer I think IP/SP wins in that category. While acting might have been slightly better in "Asylum" the much superior character development takes Impossible Planet to semis
Blink vs The Girl Who Waited
This is a tough one but I think the original theme of Blink and the great villains win even considering great action and emotion from Girl who waited
Turn Left vs The Big Bang
This is an easy one. I liked the Big Bang but in almost all ways (action, plot, acting, character development) Turn Left wins.
Impossible Planet/Satan Pit vs Day of the Doctor
Acting has to be even, as well as character development but I think IP/SP has better plot than DOTD. Also I'm more of a creepy guy than a nostalgia guy so Satan Pit goes to the Final.
Blink vs Turn Left
If I could I'd make this the final but sadly that's not how it works. So the dark story of Turn Left against the fast paced original story of Blink. But accomplishing what they did with Donna's growth in getting a more mature personalty and the sheer awesomeness of the ending sends Turn Left into the final matchup.
Impossible Planet/Satan Pit vs Turn Left
How sci- fi can you get? A planet next to a black hole vs an alternate universe adventure. I have to say I'm a sucker for alternate universes and you could kind of see the plot twist near the end of Impossible/Satan coming. Most everything else is even but Turn Left was really a masterpiece and wins as my best NuWho episode ever.
Winner: Turn Left
