![]() Author has written 29 stories for Escaflowne, X/1999, Tokyo Babylon, Harry Potter, Misc. Games, Avatar: Last Airbender, Alpha Centauri, Doctor Who, Batman, Star Wars, and Sherlock. Story Statuses: Vision of Escaflowne: Incomplete stories: A Wish for Jeture: This will be a chaptered project. It's been lurking around in my brain for quite some time. I finally decided to post the prologue in the hopes that people reading it will give me the incentive to keep working on it. This is also further proof that my adoration for Dilandau will never die. Seven years, countless other obsessions, and I still think he's awesome. Completed stories: To Mend the Rose: Completed. Lousy example of my work. Safe for Dilandau, Allen, and Van fans alike. Hitomi is neither present nor bashed. Journey of Shadow and Fire: Completed. NOT safe for Van or Allen fans. This was written in a fit of vengeful anger after seeing episode 14. The planned sequel has been cancelled. Also, this is a really, really crappy story. The writing is awful, the characterizations are awful, and...it's just awful. Remember Tenshi: One-shot. This is an integral part of the To Mend the Rose backstory, and is mentioned repeatedly from chapter 8 onward. I'm not proud of this one, either. The concept could have been done well...and I didn't manage to pull it off. On Board a Godforsaken Rock: Humour one-shot from Dilandau's point of view. Alternate series ending. This is a good read if you want a well-written, non-slapstick laugh with no character bashing. I actually don't cringe over this story. This story and Dance in Shadows are the only works of mine from this time period that I'm actually still kind of proud of. Mask of the Demon: One-shot descriptive piece on Dilandau written for a college freshman English class. The imagery is overdone to death, but...oh well. Definitely not my best work. Dance in Shadows: One-shot. This follows the storyline of To Mend the Rose, but no previous knowledge of To Mend the Rose is needed. This is probably my best serious one-shot to date of this series, and also my most recent. X/1999: Unfinished Stories: Rules of the Game: DISCONTINUED There are definite plans for revision, but I SHUDDER when I think of this series. I butchered Subaru's character, and thus threw everyone else out of whack. I will be redoing this, as I've improved since then...I hope. Completed Stories Pre-Hiatus: They Drown in Sakura: One-shot. There's a bit too much repitition of the drowning theme, but other than that it's not too bad. Still, not anywhere near one of my better works. This was written for a fanart challenge by Rhole at CLAMPesque. The details are in the story intro. Gift of Peace: One-shot christmas WAFF. It's mostly in character, descriptive, short, and sweet. Not really my best work at all, though. X/1999 isn't my strongest series for writing for Completed Stories Post-Hiatus: Token of Green: One-shot, Seishirou-centric. This was the first piece I wrote coming out of hiatus. In essence, Seishirou studies the tokens from his kills and comes to a surprising realization. Decent example of my work. A Lesson in Anatomy: One-shot, crack. Really crack. I believe there's a bit over emphasis on Subaru's embarrassment in the beginning, but I'm not going to bother to fix it. Basically, Subaru has an embarrassing day at school, and Seishirou does not help. Eternal: One-shot, TRC/X in a different way. In this, TRC!Seishirou is actually X!Seishirou reborn. This is a take on his and TRC!Subaru's still-awaited meeting. Meh quality. It's okay. Not great, but not horrible either. Silence: One-shot, Subaru-centric. This is an introspective piece more written as a series of snippets strung into an overarching theme of silence and how it controls Subaru's life. The imagery is nice. I'm still very proud of this short story. |
