oOoOoOoOo For those of you who were kind enough to read my profile please take the time to read "Welcome Home" and leave a review. Its a story that really means a lot to me and was difficult for me to write. Its a story of the worry, stress and fear that is left behind for the wives to bear when their soldiers go off to fight. I, myself, have a soldier off fighting and I cried writing this having to force myself to relive all the emotions that I portrayed in the story. It would mean the world to me if you read it and left a review. Help me to support our troops for doing this. I set up a project at my church to send care packages over seas for those soldiers who are fighting for our freedom, in addition I have a jar that I have here at home with me that I'm going to place a dollar in for every review I receive for this story. The money I set aside will go towards special care packages for those at FOBS who are unable to reach a destination to buy the supplies they need. Again please help me to support these troops. Thank you for taking the time to read this little message. :) Note: This is a good story for all those Inuyasha lovers out there!! Note #2: I am not profiting from this story in the least aside from the reviews. All money being set aside is my own and no one else's. This is strictly NON-PROFIT!! oOoOoOoOo
*I want to thank all those who have read the story "Welcome Home" and left a review. Although I haven't gotten many reviews for (I think 14 at last count) it has still been incentive enough for me to keep putting money back for care packages for our soldiers. Just from these reviews alone I have been able to send two big boxes to some friends in Afghanistan and Iraq so that they could give to those soldier who needed something. Thank you again for the reviews! Spread the word. Even if you don't like the story and leave a flame a bad review is still a review and I will still set money back for it. Just the fact that you took the time to read the story is good enough for me.*
Hello I'm Ekko Rayne. I love to write and one day hope to become a writer. I figured it would be easiest to get my work started here. The more people read and review the better my work can get. I believe that it isn't up to me to decide whether my stories are good or not but that its up to the reader. I encourage both positive and negative feedback. Without either how can my writing grow to become better? I've been writing going on 6 years now but this is the first time I have decided to post my work. So even if you don't like my work please review it so I know where I need to better myself in writing.
To me writing is an art form in and of itself. I love the way that the words create themselves in your mind and flow into your fingers to create a story that readers will love. There's no better feeling then when you know someone loves your stories. :)
Most of the stories I plan to write are anime based. Some of which I'll be writing for are Inuyasha, Fruits Basket, Rurouni Kenshin and Vampire Knight and eventually Yu Yu Hakusho. I have also written one or two for Harry Potter and Supernatural. I plan to write stories for other categories as well such as Twilight. I also have a fic for Naruto that isn't half bad.
I love a challenge so to all the readers out there if you have a story for one of the animes I have listed, since writing for anime seems to be my strongest point, then give me an idea for a story and I'll write one for you mentioning your name in the notes. Just send me a PM with your ideas.
My Inuyasha stories are mostly centered around Inuyasha and Kagome. I also like the pairing of Kagome and Sesshomaru, but I don't whether I could ever get that pairing justice or not. I have a Sesshomaru and Rin fic, but no worries Rin's grown up and there is no lemon in this fic. I just couldn;t right one for them, not after always seeing Rin as a little girl. My Fruits Basket fanfics are stories mostly about Kyo and Tohru but I do have one that's about Tohru and Akito (the male Akito like in the anime, not the manga's female). I have one story up for Rurouni Kenshin and plan to write others. I have an idea for a Sanosuke and Megumi pairing so I hope something comes of it. I have a Naruto fic up and one for Supernatural and I think I have one or two up for Harry Potter with the pairing of Hermione and Draco.
I have no aversion to writing boy on boy or girl on girl. As a writer you have to be willing to try to write anything to better your skills. I have several ideas for stories, some boy on boy, some girl on girl. Some a little of both. I have two or three posted now of male/male and female/female. I believe one is for Inuyasha and the other two for Vampire Knight.
I have one co-written story with another author named Kiba Blackfire. It's called "The Lunar Rainbow Promise" and you'll be able to find it on their profile so check it out.
So check out all my stories and leave your reviews. Please and thank you.
Thank you to all the readers out there that have already taken the time to read my stories. I hope you enjoyed them. :) I promise to all my dedicated readers out there that my stand still stories will eventually get finished. I just have to get over this accursed writer's block. My mental limitations are being tested it seems. *Sigh* Bear with me readers and I will have them up and posted as soon as I can! :)
As of 8/22/11 I have tallied up 129 reviews for all my stories and it makes me feel good to have gotten them all. I haven't really received a full out flame, but I have gotten some criticism which is great too because I know where I need to strengthen my writing. I want to say thank you to everyone who has read my stories and especially magicalgirl100591 for being my most devoted reader. I love you girl! Thanks so much for the reviews and even for the ideas you've given me. Keep up the good work with your own stories. To anyone who reads this check out her stories especially "You Are My Dream, Your Name My Lullaby" its a favorite of mine and very well written. For those of you who like Vampire Knight this is a story for you.
Also another story to check out from magicalgirl100591 is one I have beta read and helped co-write. It's called "My Eternity" and I can guarantee that it's going to end up amazing! The majority of the credit goes to her since it was her idea and it was a good one. Good job magicalgirl100591. I'm proud of you girl!
Name: Well I don't see the point in telling you this because it defeats the purpose of a pen name. If you really want to know you can PM me. :)
Age: I was born in 1988. Add up the years. It's easier than me having to continuously change my age as I get older.
Birthday: December 18, 1988
Basic details like hair color and all that is pointless as well. =P But for those of you who would like to know I'm blonde and blue eyed. I'm short, only 5'3".
A little about myself: I'm an army wife and I'm very proud of my husband and the other soldiers he fights along side. I have 3 amazing children, 2 beautiful daughters and one handsome very energetic son. They are the light of my life. I love my little demons more than anything else in the world even when they make me want to rip out my hair and run screaming. :) I live in a small rural town in southeastern Oklahoma where my eccentric oddity of a personality isn't quite what people around here are use to. I'm quirky and goofy and I love just being silly. My kids think I'm funny and they smile at me, but sometimes I think I might actually embarrass them without meaning to, but hey what are mommies for. (They embarrass me sometimes too especially at the store when they don't get their way. They can be evil when they want to be, but most of the time they're sweethearts) :) They know I love them. They're my best little friends.
My friends on this site: magicalgirl100591 and Kiba Blackfire and rainclawwarriorcat and Yaoi-Obsessed Lonergirl
My favorite Movies: Alice in Wonderland (Tim Burton Version), Red Riding Hood, Beastly, Twilight Saga, Harry Potter 1-7, Queen of the Damned, Interview with the Vampire, The Returner (English Dub), Death Note and Death Note II: The Last Name (English Dub), The Vampire Effect, Salem's Lot, Once Upon A Time in Mexico, Zorro movies, The Sorcerer's Apprentice, Season of the Witch, Nightmare Before Christmas, House of Flying Daggers, The One, Romeo Must Die, Kiss of the Dragon, Ninja Assassin, Ghost Ship (I don't recommend eating when watching that.), Pirates of the Caribbean (all of them), etc...
My favorite tv shows: Supernatural, Criss Angel Mindfreak, Ghost Hunters, Ghost Whisperer, The Secret Life, Surprise Homecoming (it's an Army show), The Lying Game, etc...
My favorite anime: Vampire Knight, Inuyasha, Fruits Basket, Death Note, Rurouni Kenshin, Yu Yu Hakusho, Karin, Chobits, etc...
My favorite bands: Bullet For My Valentine, All That Remains, Black Veil Brides, 3OH!3, Hollywood Undead, Breaking Benjamin, Pantera, As I Lay Dying, Escape the Fate, Woe is Me, Skillet, Mudvayne, Papa Roach, Evanescence, Three Days Grace, Twelve Stones and many others but here's a few.
I'd tell you my favorite books, but there's so many so I'll just put done my favorite authors instead: J.K. Rowling, Stephanie Meyer, James Patterson, Nickolas Sparks, Lynsay Sands, Sherrilyn Kenyon, Christine Feehan, Maggie Shayne, Christopher Pike, Anne Rice, Edgar Allen Poe...sheesh there's a lot of authors as well. I mostly like supernatural romance and everything to do with vampires as long as the vampires are the good guy rather than the bad.
My Writing: I really enjoy writing fanfiction, but I also like writing songs and poetry as well. My cousin is a country singer and his song writing is an inspiration to me. Poetry is a form of therapy for me so some of my poems are angry while some are sad or happy. It all depends on what mood I'm in when I write. My songs are the same way, but mostly they suit the genre of music I listen to most which is alternative and metal. Some don't even make sense to anyone but me. lol. I write my own stories aside from the fanfiction. They mostly settle around the supernatural such as vampires and ghosts and the like.
In my spare time I like to spend time with my children. When they're asleep I write or read or sometimes both. I like to make AMVs as well. I have 3 currently on youtube and a few others I haven't posted yet.
My Inuyasha AMV. Inuyasha fighting mostly Sesshomaru, but there are other fights as well.
My Harry Potter AMV. Fight scenes from movies 5-7.
My Vampire Knight AMV Yuuki/Zero
They aren't very good I don't think, but they were the first 3 that I made. I'm proud of the way they turned out. I'm hoping to get my Dragonball Z, Naruto and Hiei (from Yu Yu Hakusho) posted up on youtube soon. As soon as I do I'll post the links here. (Looks like it make take some time to get them posted. :( I killed my laptop charger and it has no charge. *sadness*)
Recently I have become addicted to Korean dramas and I highly recommend "You're Beautiful", "Mary Stayed Out All Night", "Playful Kiss", "Boys Over Flowers" and "Romance Town." I've watched others, but so far these are my favorites. I'm in the process of watching a new one called "Love Rain", but the site I'm using is kinda slow on getting the English subs up. It's a good one so far though. Jang Keun Suk is probably one of my favorite actors. He also sings and dances and models. He's young, but he's very talented. For those of you who are wondering who he is take a look at my avatar and you'll at least see what he looks like. He's pretty isn't he? :)
I'm hoping to have more stories posted soon! Be looking for them. I have one for Death Note started but I have no idea when that one will be finished. It's taking longer than I thought to find a good ending place. I'll get it posted just as quickly as I can. I have many ideas for other anime stories. I have an Inuyasha LEMON in the works. Hopefully that one will be posted soon as well. I have some song fics I want to do and 2 differnet Yaoi stories, one for Vampire Knight and one for Yu Yu Hakusho. I also have an Inuyasha comedy idea in the works. As soon as I work out all the details I'll begin writing on it. Just keep checking back for new stories!!
I just recently posted a story called "Son of the Flying Dutchman" and after posting it I came across a wiki article that states that they did have a son and he sppeared on "At World's End"...luckily this is fanfiction so I don't have to have the facts straight, but I am definitely going to rewatch the movie since I saw a picture of what the lad should look like so maybe I'll actually spot him this time. However this new info is not going to impact my story. At least not at this time it won't. I think I did okay on it considering it was my Pirates of the Caribbean fiction, but if anyone reads it and has some idea on how to make it better drop a PM my way and I will consider in when I update it.*
NOTE: While I appreciate everyone's opinion and value all information that I lack in my stories I do not appreciate someone telling me my information is lacking especially inside one of my reviews. If you think I have gotten something wrong or have some information you think would help send me a PM instead of smearing it in my reviews. As I pointed out in my post back to the reviewer this is fanfiction that is being written so the facts don't all have to be straight and precise. If everything was based solely on fact and fact alone all I would be doing was stealing the characters and story line instead of writing a fanfiction based off said characters and story line. It is the art of fanfiction that allows everyone to build a story around characters they love with their own imaginations and ideas. Sometimes the lack of the right information is what makes it easiest to bend the story in your favor so that it works for you and the characters you're portraying. While I encourage flames in my reviews I do not encourage smearing for all to see that a lack of information was found. It's disrespectful to the writer. If you have a problem with it then you should PM the writer. Thank you all for reading my little rant here. Thank you to all those who review (even the one who caused my little rant :) no hard feelings) and happy reading!
NOTE 2: Something else that irks me is the people that leave flames and have it to where you can't reply to them. If you're going to leave a flame than if you aren't open to PMs then at least leave a reason why you disliked my stories. While I don't mind flames I do mind pointless ones where all they say is "I hate this." At least explain your reasoning why so that when I update them I can look into changing or improving the parts that you disliked.
This story was emailed to me some time ago and I finally decided that I wanted to post it on here. It made me cry when I read it. Here it is:
Will You Give This To My Daddy:
Last week I was in Atlanta, GA attending a conference. While I was in the airport, returning home, I heard several people behind me beginning to clap and cheer. I immediately turned around and witnessed one of the greatest acts of patriotism I have ever seen. Moving through the terminal was a group of soldiers in their camo.
As they began heading to their gate, everyone (well almost everyone) was abruptly to their feet with their hands waving and cheering. When I saw the soldiers, probably 30-40 of them, being applauded and cheered for, it hit me. I'm not alone. I'm not the only red-blooded American who still loves this country and their families. Just like everyone else I immediately stopped and began clapping for these young unsung heroes who were putting their lives on the line everyday for us so that we can go to school, work and home without fear or reprisal.
Just when I thought I could not be more proud of my country or of our soldiers, a young girl, not more than 6 or 7 years old ran up to one of the male soldiers. He knelt down and said, "Hi..." The little girl then asked him if he would give something to her daddy for her...The young soldier, who didn't look any older than maybe 22 himself, said he would try and what did she want to give to her daddy. Then suddenly the little girl grabbed the neck of this soldier, gave him the biggest hug she could muster and then kissed him on the cheek.
The mother of the little girl, who said her daughter's name was Courtney, told the young soldier that her husband was in the Army and had been in Iraq for 11 months now. As the mom was explaining how much her daughter Courtney missed her father the young soldier began to tear up.
When this temporarily single mom was done explaining her situation all the soldiers huddled together for a brief second...Then one of the other soldiers pulled out a military-looking walkie-talkie. They started playing with the device and talking back and forth on it. After about 10-15 seconds of this the young soldier walked back over to Courtney, bent down and said this to her, "I spoke to your daddy and he told me to give this to you." He then hugged this little girl that he had just met and gave her a kiss on the cheek. He finished by saying,"Your daddy told me to tell you that he loves you more than anything and he is coming home very soon."
The mom at this point was crying almost uncontrollably and as the young soldier stood to his feet, he saluted Courtney and her mom. I was standing no more than 6 feet away from this entire event. As the soldiers began to leave, heading towards their gate, people resumed their applause. As I stood there applauding and looked around, there were very few dry eyes, including my own. That young soldier in one last act of selfishness turned around and blew a kiss to Courtney with a tear rolling down his cheek.
Every time I read this it makes me cry, makes me think of my own soldier who is fighting for our freedom and rights. I think of how my children miss their daddy and then I think about the time that I had a similar story of my own happen while my oldest and I were waiting in the airport during the Christmas holiday waiting for my husband's plane. One plane arrived and it wasn't his, but there were soldiers leaving the gates. My daughter, who understood that her father was in the Army though not understanding what that really meant, saw all the men in uniform and started tugging on my hand. I let her lead me to the gate and before I could stop her she hugged several of the exiting soldiers. They all smiled at her as I grabbed her hand again. I smiled back, but what she said made my eyes tear up. She looked up at the nearest soldier and smiled her sweet and innocent smile and asked, "Are you helping my daddy be a superhero?"
The soldier knelt down still smiling as he looked her in the eye. He told her, "Your daddy is more of a superhero than I am. He has a little girl he has to protect."
My daughter hugged him again while I stood there trying hard not to cry. When the soldier stood he placed his hand on my shoulder and squeezed gently saying, "Continue to be strong for your soldier. Your love is the strength that he needs to be the hero your little girl sees."
I hugged this stranger then, feeling compassion for the nameless soldier before letting him go into the waiting arms of an older woman. He smiled as he walked away and wasn't aware that my husband's flight had landed and that he stood behind me. When I turned and saw him there my eyes filled with tears once again as he captured our daughter in a fierce hug.
While in the car, making the 3 hour trip to our hometown, I told him what happened. From the corner of my eye I saw silently crying, several tears leaking from his eyes to run down his cheeks.
Here's something totally true from magicalgirl100591's profile. If you love Zero Kiryu from Vampire Knight then this is for you:
You know you're obsessed with Zero Kiryu when...
1. You don’t mind the idea of going grey anymore.
2. Tattoos suddenly seem far sexier. (I find tattoos sexy anyway-ER)
3. You cry for Zero every time you watched the final episode of Vampire Knight Guilty. (yepp, just thinking about it...T.T) (Totally agree with that. Poor Zero. T.T-ER)
4. You want to take up shooting so you can pretend Zero is with you
5. You ask your gun people if they have ever heard of the ‘Bloody Rose’ and they just stare at you.
6. You wouldn’t mind Zero biting you. (He can bite me any day.-ER)
7. You tried to convince your Parents to let you get the Zero tattoo. (Considering I don't have to convince my parents I'm one step ahead of others. Plus I plan to get the tattoo anyway. Only mine will be on the back of my neck.-ER)
8. You stared in disbelief at his half naked torso and wondered how a drawing was that incredibly hot. (^^) (Hey that's one fine chest thats's drawn there if I might say so.-ER)
9. When your math teacher mentions ‘Zero’ you get a little bit excited.
10. You fangirled really hard when you realised Mamoru Miyano, the voice of Zero, also played Light in DeathNote. (Trust me if you miss that then you so need to rethink being a Zero fan. His voice is amazing.-ER)
11. You rewatched DeathNote after realising this. (I've rewatched DeathNote tons of times, but not for this reason. I just love Ryuk ^^-ER)
12. When you see how angst ridden Zero is, you just want to squish him in a massive cuddle. Even if he shoots you for it. (Darn right I'm gonna hug the poor vampire. He needs lots of hugs. ^^-ER)
If any of these apply to you then copy and paste this and then bold the ones that fit you. Everyone is sterotyped at some point for one thing or another.

NOTE!!!!!! I will begin updating my stories soon! I read through them and realized there were a lot of spelling errors. So sorry to all those who have read them and had to deal with the spelling mistakes. I'll update as quickly as I can, but with 3 kids it may take me a little while. I don't have much time to do things like updating and such. Just please bear with me! Thank you!!!!!
NOTE: 1/11/2012 Happy New Year to all my lovely readers! I know it's a little late but better late than never, yes? Anyway I should begin updating soon. I finally got a new laptop, but it's still taking me awhile to get around to actually updating. I have all my old files on an external hard drive, but between 3 kids, errands and every day life I'm lucky to get out new stories. I'm working on a couple of new ones, but they're still in the embryo stage right now. I promise though that I will get around to updating as soon as I can. Thank you to all those who have stuck by me! I appreciate each and every one of you.
March 31, 2012:
To all my readers I apologize for not getting more stories up this year. My husband has just recently returned from his tour in Afghanistan so things have been pretty busy. I hope to have more written and posted in the future, but I don't foresee it being anytime soon, at least not until things die down some. So please bear with me. I love you all and thank you very much for all the reviews that continue to come in. I enjoy each and every one of them.
