What is Twilight Reality Show? Twilight Reality Show is a secondary account created to write satire and parody about Twilight, and other series that I am not a fan of because they are good, but that I am a fan of because they are highly flawed. Yes, this implies that I enjoy making fun of the flaws in the series.

How dare you make fun of random fandom? I've heard the argument from Twihards before, that pointing out the flaws in something takes their enjoyment out of particular series. I think these people need to ask the question why their fun is taken away. If it is because their perfect little bubble was burst, it is time to grow up, the world doesn't work that way. Seriously, what is bad about having a good laugh at a series in good fun? Also, some people enjoy looking at things from an intellectual level.

How dare you make fun of random author? Since real person fanfiction is not allowed on this site, I am not going to be putting said authors into the fanfics, so why worry? Yes, I am poking fun of their work, but that doesn't mean I am making fun of them. What some Twihards don't realize is that it is not an insult in the writing community to have your work pulled apart for the flaws. This includes my own work here and also includes the well written, with the poorly written.

How dare you make fun of fans of random fandomWhen I make fun of the fans of a fandom, I don't make fun of all the fans, or single out a particular person. Instead, I single out behavior issues and satire that, so that the non rabid fans can laugh and the rabid ones may eventually learn a good hard lesson about life in general. Actually, that is the point of this account, to teach good from bad.

Can I write better then Meyer? I am putting this up because I had someone tell me that it was impossible for them to write better then Stephanie Meyer and thus not to be so hard on them. I didn't know at the time, as much as I do now, so I didn't realize that the person had such low expectations of themselves. I honestly know plenty of writers on this site who write better then Meyer. Sure, I am not yet as good as the writes I admire, but I don't let that hold me back from improving.

What fandoms do you consider “highly flawed”? The site lists all the fandoms that you write for up top, but due to me writing some crossovers with non “highly flawed” series, that list is not going to work. So for now, here is a brief list of some of the series I may work with on this profile that are in fact “highly flawed”.

  • ANIME: 11eyes, Blood C, Dog Days, Itsuka Tenma no Kuro Usag
  • BOOK: Twilight, House of Night
  • You hate all of the above fandoms, don't you?

I actually don't hate any of these fandoms. I may think that the fans are annoying, or I may think that the fandom isn't age appropriate. There is also nothing wrong with liking something with flaws.

In fact, I actually like 11eyes, Dog Days and Itsuka Tenma no Kuro Usagi. I don't like Blood C as an adaptation of Blood, but I do like it as a stand alone piece from Blood. (That is actually WHY it is on the flawed list. It is not a good adaptation, despite being an AU.) There are plenty of others that I will add in.

What kind of works are you going to post here? I will be dealing with the concepts of “unreliable narrator”, “delusional narrator”, “reality check”, “loss of Haruhi Suzumiya power”, “fall into another fandom” and “trope bending”, plus various other things. It is rather complicated, truth be told.

Can you add [title] to your C2 "I Heart Mary Sues"? Sure. It can be an old Mary Sue you or someone else has written in the past, a parody series or a story that takes a Mary Sue cliche and turns it around so it works.

Wait... you have a community dedicated to Mary Sues? Isn't that bad?I kind of got tired of the Mary Sue communities that were dedicated to bashing Mary Sues. The only stories added to the communities were Mary Sue stories. There were no parodies and no stories that turned the Mary Sue cliche around and turns it around. Writing a Mary Sue though shouldn't be treated as it is some illness. It's part of the growing process. So, I created said community to celebrate the Mary Sue. The only ones that you know why they've been added are going to be the Mary Sue parodies, the others you have to figure out for yourself.
