Author has written 3 stories for Torchwood.
And a mind needs a book as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge. - Tyrion Lannister, "A Game of Thrones"
Well, hello there. You just clicked on my name, so I think you might want to know a bit about me. :)
Name: Steffi. Originally Stefanie, but nearly no-one calls me that. (:
Something about me:
Crossing your fingers helped - I'm living in Scotland by now - and I LOVE it! :) Thank you!
I have written for a long time; something like 12 years by now. As soon as I could read (... and I could read before I went to school. Taught myself to read and one day read the newspaper out loud to my parents. Man, they were confused :D ) and write, I started to write my ideas down.
Some of my favourite books are Alice's adventures in Wonderland and Behind the Looking Glass, The Lord of The Rings, The Hunger Games and basically everything by Edgar Allan Poe and Shakespeare. You could say I'm a Shakespeare-fangirl...
I'm a scifi-geek. I grew up watching Star Wars - the old movies, so I detest the newer versions, with all the tinkering done to them. I'm a Whovian and a Torchwood-fangirl, but I also love The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy - at the moment, I'm watching Firefly. ;)
But, as much as I love geeky things (and I'm also a bit into computer games... really serving the nerd cliché sometimes.), I like all things colourful and - even better - sparkling, as long as it's not too pink. Starting with John Barrowman (I'm still farting sparkles - saw him in concert in Dublin, Novemer 2011 :) and in London in June 2012 - going for Panto!), stopping with my most recent discovery: edible glitter! How awesome is edible glitter?
So, if you have any questions, feel free to ask - I don't bite (except you ask nicely or smell like something really, really tasty.). :)
Oh, and just for the record: Yes, I like to put things in brackets. :D
