I like reading and writing fanfiction, hence why I have an account. I also consider myself an artist with a special interest in manga and architecture. I'm currently working on finishing a series, and depending on how much feedback I get back, the amount of time I take to update differs. I especially love reading fanfics that are original, error-free (so rare these days) and above all else, doesn't have a Mary-sue or Gary-sue whose main purpose is be the love interest of a canon character, save the world, or be Mr. or Ms. Perfect. I hate those sues with a passion.

Not much else to say. I rather keep my identity anonymous, but I'll say I am at a mature enough age to proofread and write stories. I am a proud grammar Nazi, and any fanfic I see with too many spelling errors in its summary or first chapter really turns me off from a story. There's spell check for a reason.

As a writer, I like to focus on character development first, and then the plot. Characters drive the story, and if you have good characters, canon and original, who grow and change like realistic people, then a decent plot will eventually form even when you have no clue where you're heading. If you do have one, then an advice I'd give to myself would be to have an ending in mind. Once you know what ending you want, then planning the steps to getting that ending will come. Good endings are hard to write, and I especially like endings to tie up loose ends and give readers a satisfying resolution, and I hope to have my stories end in such a manner. I personally don't like open-ended endings where authors allow readers to decide how it ends because I see that as lazy writing.

My goal on this site is to have every character interaction I write be meaningful and fun to read. I love foreshadowing and literary symbolism, so be sure to notice those elements in all my fanfictions. I also strive to break common stereotypes and cliches seen in stories, give more support and appreciation to overlooked characters, and above all, provide my readers quality entertainment because that's what every writer on any fanfiction site should strive for. It shouldn't matter how many reviews or likes or favorites you get. Fanfiction is a place where people read and write for fun, and it's disheartening to see that purpose diminish in a sea of trolls, flames, poor writing, and hateful (often discriminating) comments from readers and writers.

When it comes to relationships, I focus on platonic relationships between friends and family, and not much on romance other than established canon pairings. I just feel that nowadays, these platonic relationships are often glossed over in favor of the main pairing, and this is my attempt to revive that interest. As of now, I choose not to focus on romance because there's already too much of that genre spread out on this site and elsewhere. In my opinion, there's not much I could do out of the ordinary when it comes to the romance genre and I'm not creative or interested enough on that aspect to think one up. I'll leave that for other writers to indulge. And honestly? People these days go crazy when it comes to their favorite ships and fan pairings, and if their fan pairing isn't picked, they either flame the author or stop reading the fanfic no matter how good or bad it is. I wish to have readers judge my stories by its plot and character progression, not because person A ends up with person B and not C, D, E, or whoever.

So that's my own mission on this site as a fanfic writer. If you're reading this blob of text, and don't think it was a waste of time, then that's great. If you happen to be one of my readers, then know that this is what you can expect from my stories. Whether you think this is good or bad that's your opinion. Again, fanfiction is written for the sake of entertainment. No one is forcing you to like or read anything, and no one is being paid to write this stuff. How you spend your time on this site is your decision. Please keep that in mind before deciding to critique a fanfiction writer for 'wasting' your time and energy.
