I take milk in my coffee and honey in my tea.
Currently: On haitus from editing and posting AM. I'm sorry, folks, but after months of suffering and not knowing, I finally have a diagnosis and a treatment plan. I plan on finishing all re-writes and final edits completely before I resume posting so that you don't hang in a lurch, and then I'll add them a day at a time.
WIP: Ars memoriae, or The Art of Memory. A novel-length piece set ten years after the end of the series. Canon through DH, EWE?, SS/HG.
The draft on this fellow was originally 180,000 words, but I've found that I add as I edit. We're looking at about 210,000 words now, by my best estimate. I'm editing as I go, uploading a chapter every week to two weeks. (It's not seen a Beta, so please feel free to send mistakes my way when you catch them! I also suffer under the delusion that Canadian = British, but we all know that's not true, so feel free to Britpick away. And... 'Aussiepick' away?) A great deal of the plot is determined by the fundamentals of alchemy used (and misused) in the series, so I'll attach a final chapter as an explanation when we get there. This is also going up on TPP, if you prefer reading over there.
k2tog. Canon through DH, EWE?, SS/HG. Another ordinary love story, but with knitting and sheep and poison. One-shot.
The Principles of Argumentation. Canon through DH, EWE?, SS/HG. Three-shot, if that's a word. HG/SS develop over the course of a decade, as relayed in three important arguments.
- Seven drabbles for(I'm fond of 'Extra! Extra!' and 'How We Grew Up', so I put them here as well.)
- "The Hiding Place." A short story for 2011 Interhouse Fest. Set at Hogwarts during DH, with Ginny, Luna, Severus, Pomona, the Carrows, and others.
I have one of these because hypothetically I'm told you're to have one of these, but I don't have the slightest clue as to what to do with it.
