Author has written 5 stories for Phineas and Ferb.
Ah, last updated in 2012. And what a crazy two and a half years it's been. I'm afraid I must disappoint most of you, especially anyone who has followed any of my stories, but I will say what you've probably been dreading to hear — I am leaving the fandom. This hasn't been a quick decision, or an easy one, but I'm afraid in the end it's the only one that works out. I've (I hesitate to say outgrown) lost my passion for the Phineas and Ferb fanfiction world, and while I still enjoy the show from time to time it's very rare. It was a good run, if a short and non-prolific one, but I had fun, and I enjoyed being a part of it.
As part of this decision, all of my fanfictions, completed or otherwise, are now freely available to anyone who wants to do anything with them — mutilate them, crack them, spin them, feel free. I know I don't actually hold any power over any of you (let alone the show itself), so consider this more a symbolic act than anything else. I was never terribly big in this fandom, so I don't feel I will be particularly missed, especially after a two year hiatus, and hopefully the number of disappointed people will be few.
I was a very different person in 2012, and with the passing of time I feel I've changed and become better from who I was. Certainly I feel less angst-y, which is never an attractive quality (don't believe what angst-y people tell you), and much more well-grounded as a person. Unfortunately, as my youth (such as it is) has faded so has my passion for Phineas and Ferb, and, correspondingly, my passion for the Phineas/Isabella pairing. They are still a very cute pairing, and shippers will ship away, but perhaps the older I am the less I can relate to them. So, to all the wonderful characters I got to play with, adieu; it was an enjoyable time.
At any rate, I won't keep this biography much longer for anyone agonizing through it. I no longer feel the need to fill this with copious personal information, so I'll leave it with simply stating that I'm a very un-prolific writer on the more annoying and energy-taxing side of middle age — that is to say, an annoying young person. I'm not terribly good at finishing the stories I start, with about ten to twenty different ones in varying states of completion scattered across my poor hard-drive. Unfortunately for any of you Phineas and Ferb fans, they are all from other fandoms.
Again, I must repeat my apologies for anyone hoping for a come back. After two years I imagine that pool of people is small, but you never know. I must do what I very much dislike doing and rescind my promises of completing my stories. Not only have I lost passion for writing them, but I also have lost most of the plot-lines that might have completed them. My fault, really, for making promises I wouldn't keep, but it's not me who suffers.
Whether this account will be used for posting new stories in other fandoms is a matter still up in the air, as of October 2014, but do not be terribly surprised if this account sees another two and a half years of posting inactivity. I must thank all the people who encouraged me, for although your words were in vain your attempt was valiant, and the burden of failure sits upon me alone. Know that I still admire you (however much that means), and urge you to continue your work.
With that, enjoy the existing stories, such as they are.
