Author has written 5 stories for Hunger Games.
I'm part of The Hunger Games and Uglies fandom.
I heard of both books back in early 2010. I found myself more interested in Uglies. I had a very nice fanfic for it planned, but I realized it sounded way better in my head than once I typed it up. I may return to it one day, who knows.
I didn't read The Hunger Games until it was a required reading in my developmental psychology class a year later. I'm so thankful my professor re-introduced me to it. I couldn't put the book down and have been an avid fan ever since (and I made a B in the class).
Me vs. Hunger Games fandom:
-I'm a shameless reader of SYOT fanfics. They remind me of those romance novels you find at the dollar store. No offense to those authors. There are some great SYOT stories i.e. misticalcookie. It's that the majority of them can be really cheesy and oddly written.
-I am not a fan of Peeta. There, I said it. I found him extremely annoying throughout the entire series. I believe he should've died in the first book to create a more dramatic effect and so that Katniss ends up with Gale. To me, it seems more logical for those two to be together.
-The amount of CatoxClove, GalexMadge, HaymitchxEffie, HaymitchxMaysilee, RoryxPrim stories I see are highly confusing.
And yes, I make up the 8% of male fanfics readers. We're an exclusive club.
(I typed all of this up and clicked off the page, forgetting to save it. There was much more information here the first time :/)
Roulette-It's my pride and joy. The first story that I ever stuck with from start to finish. A simple boy from District Ten is plucked from the masses to become Giovanni Del Rojo, Victor of the 61st Hunger Games. I'd love to hear your opinions about Roulette.
A Deck of 24-A series of one-shots for every tribute in the 61st Hunger Games, including Giovanni. I plan to finish this quickly in order to work on Roulette's sequels ASAP.
Just A High Rolling District Boy-Details Giovanni's life after he wins the Games. Will probably be the longest in the trilogy as it spans over a decade of his life (rest assured, I'll skip over a few years to save from dragging the story along)
Gambler's Fallacy-The final story of the Roulette trilogy. Giovanni's role in the 74th Hunger Games and the Rebellion. His opinion on Little Miss Everdeen is certainly not of the norm.
Dessert For Breakfast (maybe)-A KatnissxPeeta one-shot months after the end of Mockingjay but long before the Epilogue. I told myself I'd never write about Katniss or Peeta, particularly on their romance, but people change. This is only an idea in my head, so please no rioting outside my dorm or exploding my car if this never sees the light.
