The revolution has succeeded but the republic has not. Les Amis have scattered and Enjolras has left the country, leaving Grantaire without a pillar to lean on. In a simple room in Paris two souls meet and, among other things, talk.

AU. During the final battle Valjean saves not only Marius, but a few members of Les Amis, including Enjolras. While the surviving Amis grieve and try to hold each other together, Valjean must find a way to protect them from the authorities, including a still alive and increasingly unstable Javert. He did not want to be the way that he was. He did not like being like this. He wanted to be like Enjolras. He wanted to be good, and brave, and strong like Enjolras. He wanted to make Enjolras proud. But it was too late for that, now. Long ago, perhaps, but not now. Now, Grantaire was a disgraceful man. But long ago, things had been different.

"I can't do it anymore, Ferre," Enjolras whispered, the words hurting his brain, feeling sharp and unfamiliar coming out of his mouth. "It's…too…too heavy.""You don't have to carry it alone, mon cher," Combeferre murmured as he rose. "You are never alone in this fight, you must always remember that." Combeferre can never remember being seriously ill. However, when the stress of being a medic at Necker in the heat of the hottest Parisian summer he's known so far becomes too much; Enjolras, Courfeyrac and Joly are there to pull him out of the darkness. My small contribution for Barricade Day 2014 and the remembrance of the June Rebellion. In his last moments as the eight bullets strike, Enjolras thinks of his friends. He thinks of the fact that wars are not just won by victories, they are won by losses too. In the end, what they have done will matter, because what they believed in will prevail. One day, Paris will rise.

Enjolras is making independent decisions, which threatens his friendships and could have serious consequences for their cause. Modern AU/OC

If he were completely honest with himself – and Combeferre took pride in his honesty – he would say he was dreading going to bed. Oh, he would fall asleep in minutes, surely. But he would have preferred tossing and turning for hours, unable to catch any rest, rather than relieve what he knew would happen.

Enjolras' father contemplates the untimely death of his only son, as well as the icy relationship they shared for a short time. One-Shot.

"This better be important," Combeferre grumbled, crossing the room and throwing open the door. Enjolras flashed him a pained smile, leaning heavily on Courfeyrac's shoulder. "I can explain." Modern/Reincarnation AU, Enjolras/Combeferre

When it came down to it, it was simple; Courfeyrac did not want to die. But with the bayonet raised over his head, he was helpless.

Enjolras has a bad day (his grandfather dies) but decides to go to a meeting anyway. Once there, Grantaire heckles him as per usual, but on this particular occasion everything is just too much and Enjolras starts crying and has to leave the room. Grantaire is predictably horrified.

Enjolras gets mugged outside the Musain by a police officer with a personal grudge against Les Amis and their political activities. Grantaire finds him, and seeing that Enjolras is very out of sorts, does the only logical thing he can think of and takes him to Combeferre and Courfeyrac, learning little more about Enjolras along the way. One-Shot.

Enjolras is the only one who remembers Grantaire's birthday. For Grantaire, that's more than enough. Fluff. Modern-day reincarnation.

"Enjolras left the infirmary, pulling their cause over himself like a cloak and allowing the republic's familiar embrace to lend strength to his voice and steadiness to his eyes."

The night before Enjolras goes away to college, he visits his best friend Combeferre one last time.

"You, my friend, would make a terrible politician," Combeferre said dryly.

"Don't kill him... he could be your brother" Combeferre pleaded. "He is." Abuse warning.

"I'm just... overwhelmed right now, that's all," Enjolras insisted, and Combeferre had to fight not to roll his eyes. "I suppose that's one way to put it," he agreed. "A more accurate statement would be feverish and exhausted and possessing a chronic inability to delegate."

The Disease struck Paris without warning, turning those it afflicted into mindless monsters with a craving for human flesh. Those who could afford to fled, while those who could not stayed to fight and to die in the streets. Enjolras and his friends stayed. [1830s zombie AU]

And the One Time Enjolras Needed Grantaire. Grantaire always needs Enjolras, but when Enjolras needs him, it's a nice change. (exR oneshot; T for number four)

After a riot breaks out, Grantaire babysits an injured Enjolras. It turns out differently than either of them expects. (Part of my modern AU, set after "Peace, Love, and Understanding.")

Enjolras and Grantaire awoke holding hands. - After the massacre at the barricades, Enjolras and Grantaire awake to find themselves dead and alone, save for each other. With nothing else to do and nowhere else to go, they set off on a path to find answers. Multi-chaptered, e/R.

Enjolras is late for a meeting and the rest of Les Amis worry that something might have happened. Story is probably better than summary. Warning: major character death.

They've managed to escape the barricade alive, to continue the battle another day. After months of rotting in prison Enjolras is finally released into the tender ministrations of his friends, for a long and painful recovery. Canon-era, AU, as they're not dead.

Modern-AU one shot: Jehan gets news that changes his and Courfeyracs life forever.

A protest goes wrong and guns are raised. At the end of this conflict, the mighty Apollo is falling and Grantaire blames himself. Will Enjolras wake from his endless sleep and will Grantaire ever forgive himself?

Post-Brick. In which Combeferre comes to know how Enjolras survived.

A boy lies recovering in the guest bedroom of an escaped convict surrounded by the battered remains of a 'group that nearly became historic'. The last of the Amis left standing, Enjolras and Grantaire prepare to rejoin the fight for freedom, extending an invitation to Marius to stand with them. One-shot, same universe as "To Follow".

They were ready to die, but Paris wasn't ready to let them all go. Grantaire drags a grievously wounded Enjolras from the barricade and struggles to keep him alive as Enjolras slides between the living and the dead.

One-shot. It was meant to be an innocuous riding trip through familiar territory, but then things began to happen. Characters: Legolas, Aragorn and Thranduil

After apparently taking a wrong turn in a mysterious forest, something happens to Legolas. Aragorn doesn't know what's wrong or what to do, so he takes the elf to his father in Rivendell, but Elrond has no answers, either.
