Author has written 5 stories for Harry Potter, and Inception.
"The imprint of the doe faded away with every blink of his eyes as he stood there, listening to the sounds of the forest, to distant crackles of twigs, soft swishes of snow." -- Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, p. 367
For those of you who might have followed me from my previous fandom, that account yet lives, just in case I happen to one day get the urge to write for it. As it is, I felt the need for this account because mixing my fandoms was getting confusing on that page and it makes things neater from my perspective.
Not that this page is not mixed fandoms now. I blame LJ for introducing me to new ships, so let's just... call this my slash account, yes? You will find Harry Potter/Draco Malfoy fic here, and Arthur/Eames fic from Inception, and I would put my X-Men: First Class stuff up if there was a section for it. ahem. (That'd be Erik/Charles, by the way).
For those of you whom I don't know, a crash course on my writing style and myself:
I will be using this account for fanfiction, mostly of the slashy nature as I've mentioned above. Oneshots will be my most common submissions and may vary in length, tone, verb tense, style, rating, etc... for each story. I have no timeline for my writing, as the words will occasionally desert me only to overrun me three weeks later when I don't exactly expect it.
As for me... I am a university student, live for frozen yogurt, and I encourage open-mindedness while discouraging prejudice. I must balance all the eggs in the carton before I put it away and I absolutely despise flip flops that break at inopportune moments as well as roommates who drink my all of my apple juice.
To Know: I was playing around one afternoon while trying to find any small amount of writing mojo, and Pansy decided that she wanted to tell a story. I let her, and To Know is the result of that. Playful, slightly Slytherin, and light.
how to succeed in adulthood, while kind of trying: Ah. This story. It all started with a skype conversation and a question from mentalistecbm: 'want to collab?' It ended with this 15k piece which satisfied our shared teacher-kink and our curiosity about how well we could blend our words together. In a week, we had finished, donated to the Fandom Fights Tsunami compilation, and then set about to waiting until June 30th to post. In my opinion, this experiment turned out wonderfully. We have both posted on our respective accounts on both ff.net and LJ, as we are both the authors of this piece.
Stay: This is for Betsy, her birthday present, and is something I rather enjoyed writing and teasing her with. Her own apt summary of it:
to fall, to fall, to fall at your feet: This little ficlet is one of my first ventures into one of my other OTP's--Inception's Arthur and Eames. A few lines from Florence and the Machine's I'm Not Calling You A Liar provided the original nudge to write this, and so I've separated my sections with the lyrics. Some poetry in this, kind of, smut, hurt/comfort, whatever you'd like to call it. I rather liked this piece, short though it may be.
Tether: Despite that fact that I keep trying to spell it 'tehter,' this piece was based off of a gorgeous piece of art I came across on tumblr. I tracked it down to its rightful owner on lj, and here it is. I saw it and immediately felt the urge to write a possible backstory. Another Arthur/Eames because I cannot stop writing them. Short and a little wistful, a little soft and intense at once.
I wish you happy reading of all my favorites and my own stories. PM me anytime; I'm fairly good with replying in a timely manner. (Well, I'm better replying on lj, plus my so-far-single-Erik/Charles piece is up on there with a bunch of other miscellaneous ficlets for various fandoms).
