Author has written 13 stories for Inuyasha, Ranma, Pokémon, Tenchi Muyo, and Sailor Moon.
Amane and I, Hirari, were your last bosses in the final battle of this game of fanfiction. We've never once updated any of our stories in the last three to four years, and you knew—oh yes, you knew—that the day would never come when we broads would finally face a new dawn, hoist up our carpetbags, and continue along on our journey. Oh yes, a handful of you charmed me with your reviews and e-mails, and although your wishes and compliments set free one-thousand Articunos throughout my jellybody, I, Hirari, must regretfully admit defeat to you today, May 26, 2007.
Amane's got the white flag tied tight around her eyes, too. But at this point her decisions are invalid. My twisted sister never really had anything to give up to begin with. Thanks for nothing, sweetheart.
So this is what we've learned in today's lesson: The Turmoil Twins will not update all incomplete stories written thus far on this account. Feel free to display your vexation by heinously plucking us from your review alerts and favorite authors list, and by casting aside any favorited story that is unfinished. (Of course, if you don't do any of this that would totally be cool with us. Don't expect me not to cry if I ever see anybody still pocketing us in one of their favorites lists after this day. That will remind me of how much I am the horse's ass.) I will not delete any of our stories, however. These sick kittens will remain in quarantine until some admin decides to go on the deletion rampage again. If we are one in the many unfortunate soldiers caught in the crossfire then Godspeed, ladies and gents.
I know it must feel like we've betrayed you. We know how it feels when an author picks up and leaves. It's like a best friend you've never met is choosing to walk out of your life. (How dare they!) Years ago, we've harassed other fanfiction users mercilessly and have been angels and demons for certain crowds and authors. I inform you now that...we're still not sorry. Bwanana! There! Just wanted to clear that up for future reference.
With that said, I personally want you to know that we are not stopping our fanfictions because we've totally fallen out of love with anime and the like. That just isn't possible for true, blue otaku, and it makes me physically ill to think of that ever happening. In all actuality, the fanfics I have written had plots that were, as you may have noticed, fairly unoriginal among other problems that are too bountiful to go back and fix. As I grew up from being that 12-year-old novice to the 17-year-old...novice...that I am today, I realized that I have potential to do much better and yet still maintain my energetic default setting. (That's one bitch you'll never outrun dattebayo!)
The future is ahead, and Amane and I are still running around in the dark with only a keychain flashlight to guide us. Remember now that we love each and every last one of you bumbling morons who've stood beside us when The Turmoil Twins was at its prime, and even after it fell to cinders (at which you promptly began to snicker and give each other high fives like we were blind and couldn't see you or something.) Our impact on fanfiction.net was most definitely not a huge one, but we hope despite that you'll think of us once in a while. If you don't do this that will be totally cool with us, just don't expect me not to cry damn you.
And one last thing before we part!
Thanks for everything, guys. Seriously.
Just dump the metaphorical tombstone right here fellas and kiss us good-bye,
