I have been reading Harry Potter since about 6 months after it was released in UK. I was about 10 years old and my mom knew I liked the Lord of the Rings series and somebody she knew in the UK recommended it to her for me. Since then I was hooked.

I knew Harry was going to end up with Ginny in the first book by their interactions and observations. After the second book I became a Diehard Harry/Ginny fan. The only time I was ever worried for Harry/Ginny was during Book 4 and 5. I saw the Yule Ball as the perfect way to get Harry and Ginny together but it didn't happen and that made me curious. Harry was too busy mooning over the Asian hooker to ask Ginny. While Ginny was asked by Neville which I could possibly see as somewhat compatible as a companion that Ginny could settle for if she didn't have Harry, though still nowhere near her compatibility with Harry. Then in book 5 Ginny is dating a dick and Harry is still mooning over the Asian hooker, and Luna is introduced which I could see as a person Harry could "settle for" in the same way as Ginny could settle for Neville. But even through that I was still only a Harry/Ginny fan, since all I had to do is read books 1 and 2 to reassure myself.

The person I saw as Hermione's best relationship partner was Percy. They have all the same interests, personality and predispositions. The marriage may be somewhat boring to outsider eyes but I think that it would be what they would both enjoy.

I never saw anybody for Ron. I always thought Ron would pull a Wormtail because his Character is really close to what Wormtail is described as at a young age and he already had the betrayal foundation.

Plus many more possibilities that would take tons of time to list them all. (Stuff like Dumbledore/Basilisk)

Small Print:

I classify secondary pairings as a pairing which does not involve Harry in it.

Ron and Hermione are not a concrete pairing in canon until the epilogue. A kiss in the heat of a major battle between two polar opposites is not a relationship.

Immutable Story Requirements:

1) Harry/Ginny as the Primary pairing

2) Ginny must not be raped at any point in the story or before the story took place (Story ex: Yellow Submarine)

3) Ginny must not be or have been a whore (Story ex: A Tale That Differs)

4) Ginny must not randomly give herself to a guy (Story ex: Daddy's Little Princess)

Those three stories are stories that are popular that I personally hate with a passion and defined the listed story requirements as well have been a cause for nightmares on many occasions. Though they are listed in order of most serious requirements despite them all being required, A Tale That Differs has been the cause for the most nightmares.

I would like to also note that I have not read any of these stories through and I fear for my sanity if I ever did read one let alone all 3. I immediately stopped reading in fear of more brain damage as soon as I got to the part that has defined the listed requirement.

Though the event in A Tale That Differs that defined the requirement did not happen until late in the story, I only read the first chapter before getting a suspicion of a breach of rule number two and immediately started skimming the rest of the story to make sure. What I found was way more disturbing than I could have imagined.

Notes:

My Favorite Stories consist of only Harry/Ginny stories and will remain that way for all time. Stories must be legible to the point that I can actually understand what I am reading. My Favorite Stories are basically Harry/Ginny stories that I really enjoyed to read, made me want to stay up and read more instead of going to bed, and got disappointed when I realized I was on the latest chapter already.

My Favorite Authors consist of authors who have at least 2 stories on my Favorites or 1 on Favorites and 2 on Alert/completed stories that would of gone on alert had they not been finished.
