Hello, dear readers. My name (or at least the nickname I willingly share online) is Marley, and I'm currently a college student deep in the US Bible Belt. Homophobes, xenophobes, racists, anti-Semitics, and rednecks, oh my! At least my campus is extremely liberal, with a very active GSA and thank the deities for THAT :) I major in French and Economics and I'm slowly losing my sanity because of it.
I'd share my gender, but in my opinion, such things aren't important. I believe that gender, or at least its perception, can and should be fluid, and I spend nearly half my time dressing and acting as the opposite of what I biologically am. I suppose that makes me a cross dresser, but I care even less for labels. In regards to my sexuality, all I can say is that I've only ever been attracted to, fallen in love with, and had sex with people of my own gender, but again, words like gay or lesbian irritate me. Who's to say that one day the opposite won't happen? Perhaps one day I'll happily get hetero-married and have twenty children and a dog and cat and goldfish named Elliot. That's the thing about the future, you never know what's going to happen and putting limits on yourself with labels only cause constrictions that really don't need to be there.
I'm also a firm believer that love and sex should be celebrated wherever it's found and enjoyed, regardless of race, gender, age, or even familial bonds. Those last two have gotten me in trouble before, but I honestly don't have a problem with incest or large age differences as long as it's consensual. Anything where consent is/was dubious or thoroughly denied is not okay. That's the only disclaimer you'll ever get for the relationships in any story I write.
My parents did not raise me with these beliefs and values. Quite the opposite, in fact.
And...this is all I'll share on here. If you'd care to know me better or even become cyber-buddies, send me a PM. We'll talk :)
Regards and best wishes,
