Author has written 10 stories for Jhonen Vasquez, Tremors, Saki/咲, Toontown, Invader Zim, and Twilight.
Hello, viewer of this page. 'Lil slow tonight, ain't it? AHAHAHAHAHA
Welcome to the mind machine of a bizarre music folk. My name is Joseph. I am a 15 year old male author from the United States; in particular, New York (where God can't decide what weather we need). I am not limited to writing fanfiction, though I tend to catch myself writing them more than OCs, though I write quite a few of those as well. You may know me from the Wikia network (and as a general annoyance on the MangaFox forums), whereas I was once an administrator on Creepypasta wiki and now remain a normal user. I have many favorite authors on this site or otherwise, but in truth, the vast majority of my inspiration mainly derives from the music I listen to. I consider musicality a large part of my life, and the largest reason I decide to keep moving forward in being an author (and life in general...) is because of the sheer power of music. I have a large interest in anime, manga, and cartoons I am probably too old to be watching nowadays.
I have bipolar disorder, so if I seem a bit moody or "pissy" at times, please note that I do not mean to offend anyone (and no, I am not using my disorder as an excuse for sympathy, unlike a certain person I know). Usually, though, I'm a quiet but still fun-loving guy, and I can guarantee we will get along for the main part.
Just for random clarification, I absolutely fucking detest the combination of words "Bros before hoes". It's sexist and makes me barf knowing all the primitive fellow teenagers that use it.
Music: Obviously, I love music. I could probably list a full amount of bands off of the tip of my tongue that I love in five seconds, but to stick to the basics, my favorite bands are as follows: Nine Inch Nails, Tool, Alice in Chains, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Smashing Pumpkins; oh, I could go on.
Stuff I like and will likely write or am writing for: Saki, Invader Zim, Courage the Cowardly Dog, One Piece, Johnny the Homicidal Maniac, Ren and Stimpy, Tremors, The Outsiders, The Warriors, Ed Ed n' Eddy, Bleach, Naruto (sometimes), My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic (spare me please), early Spongebob Squarepants, Cthulhu Mythos, Lord of the Rings, Total Drama series, Fairly OddParents, The Godfather, The Oblongs, Stephen King's stuff, Kafka's stuff, The Keys to the Kingdom, Something Wicked This Way Comes, The Matrix, Resident Evil, Black Butler, Hellsing, Edgar Allan Poe's writings, Most of Disney's stuff
Favorite short stories and books and novellas and all that jazz: The Thing on the Doorstep (H.P. Lovecraft), The Chocolate War (Robert Cormier), 'Salem's Lot (Stephen King), The Telltale Heart (Edgar Allan Poe)
Favorite all time fanfictions: I.E.A.B (Invader Zim fanfiction by CrazyMonkeyFox - it has since been down since I last read it in 2007-08, sadly as it one of the best novels I have ever had the pleasure of reading), The Mirage That Refuses to Disappear (Saki fanfiction by Grand Phoenix), My Immortal (Harry Potter fanfiction by Tara Gilesbie - simply one of the greatest for it's "so bad it's good" factor), When Worlds Collide (Total Drama fanfiction)
Favorite all time character(s): Koromo Amae from Saki, Archie Costello from The Chocolate War,
Favorite all-time films: The Shining, The Exorcist, A Clockwork Orange, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Starship Troopers, War of the Worlds, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Shutter Island, Eraserhead, The Departed (watch this fucking film or i will fucking END YOU), The Blair Witch Project, Requiem for a Dream
Extra notice: Any discussion or slightest mention of the book 50 Shades of Grey at all affiliated on my Fanfiction.net page, on reviews of my stories or otherwise, will be fined a 500$ lawsuit by the Federal Bureau of Investigation directly to that person's bank account. In addition, a mobster goon hired by yours truly will hunt you down and assassinate you mercilessly. You have been warned. :3

CrazyMonkeyFox: A currently inactive author, who has since taken down all of his stories from this site. This is a shame, as his fanfictions are some of the best things I have ever read. Not just in fanfiction - some of the best novels I have ever had the pleasure of reading (and I'm not just exaggerating when I say novels - both of his stories were over 110,000 words long). "I.E.A.B", an Invader Zim fanfiction, was one of the masterpieces of modern (21st century) science-fiction that is nothing short of a complete and utter work of art; it was the one story that actually inspired me to write in general. It's pretty much impossible to find since it was taken down, but if you have the luck of coming across it somehow, I recommend two things: 1, READ IT NO MATTER THE CIRCUMSTANCES, and 2, PLEASE send me the link in my Private Message. If you give me the chance to read such a masterpiece again, I will forever hail you as the next messiah.
Aesyl: Aesyl, I think, is one of the rare gem authors of modern fanfiction authors. The community arguably has become a bit divided recently, especially in the anime genre, but authors like Aesyl proves it is not quite dead yet. "Fireflies" is just one of those realistic landmarks in the genre - lengthy and fleshed out, but all woven together in an excellently crafted style.
Arwyn L.: Arwyn is a sight to behold in the anime fanfiction community. In addition to writing thoroughly well-written and realistic stories, she's more active in the internet world than most of the other authors on this list have been recently (CrazyMonkeyFox has just completely disappeared since about 2007, it seems, unfortunately, and Aesyl drops by once in awhile) and Arwyn in general is just a pretty nice woman. I recommend checking out her work when you can.
Grand Phoenix: While I haven't read too much of her romantic fanfictions, I will say that she has a perfect grasp of what the word "angst" means in her more serious and dramatic fanfictions. Just read stories of her's like "Demon" or "The Mirage that Refuses to Disappear" - the best way I can describe such works as that they take the seemingly normal flesh and peel it back to arrive at a bitter, ugly center. A heavy influence on my works as well.
ZimsMostLoyalServant: Along with Arywn, he's probably the most active person within the internet community amongst this list. In addition to being one of the friendliest people on this site I have ever known of, he is also a great author in general and knows how to conduct an equally great storyline.
Dibsthe1: While I understand why some people would find her fanfictions tedious due to the running theme they have (anti-Gaz), but the way she does it is just so infectious to get bored of, at least for me. As a fan of Dante's ancient works, "To Hell with Gaz" was an especially enjoyable nod to him by Dibsthe1.
My Current Fanfictions (large projects)
Descending Skies: The only story of these major works that is currently in progress and has quite a bit of it done. Granted, it's still not even halfway through (I'm currently in the midst of writing chapter 10, but I've been held back due to some personal falling outs), and the work hasn't received much reviews but that's not going to hinder my working on it, as I've received positive (and negative) constructive words from outside sources. It seems a few plot holes have been established, but hopefully I'll be able to abolish them quickly each time I read over what I have of the novel. This is Koromo's tale (out of three Saki characters who will be the main protagonist in each of their respective stories, the other two of whom I will reveal later), and the drudgery and dullness of life and how people - Koromo, individually in this story - struggle through it. It's a year in the life of a teenager; nostalgic longing and angst, lots of angst, but not in the cheesy way. Because, come on, people; Koromo's a sympathetic character and expanding upon that character is a worthwhile idea, especially for a fanfiction novel. Koromo is strong; waif-like and melancholy, sure, but she has her hidden virtues that she needs to unlock as life drags beside her. Plenty of everything is here; angst, teenage depression, melancholy feelings, sadness, lust, pain and most importantly of all, familial love and friendship. It's not only Koromo's story; but the story of everyone else on this planet. We all have our issues. Part of it is also to highlight the difficulties of a platonic cross-gender friendship (Koromo and Kazuo in this story), but how despite all the aching hardships of such a relation, it is possible to prevail somehow as anything can be achieved as long as you put your mind to it.
The Downward Spiral: My Nine Inch Nails fanboy kicks in with the title of this one; but my controversial opinion is that Teru Miyanaga's portrayal as a "good" character in some fanfictions in the Saki fanfic circles is unsettling, if not in some cases, downright despicable. I think that too many writers on the Saki archive portray Teru as more likable, because of our lack of insight on just who Teru really is; and I find that kind of hard to believe. Why glorify such reprehensible things, such as "dehumanizing and denying your flesh and blood exists" being chief among them? Obviously there is a reason Teru has turned out to be the sour person she is and my intent is to deviate from the typical trend of people portraying her as "likable"; in "The Downward Spiral", another upcoming fanfiction novel, I remove all the positivity that writers give to her and go with my own personal take on who she really is, and what she should be, as hinted at in canon and expand upon that canon development; despicable, flawed, deplorable, and a sufferer. Plotwise, it's loose and vague; just like the Downward Spiral album, with many things left unexplained and many interpretations to be made - some might argue it's about the teachings of Nietzsche, some may think of it as a metaphorical attack on domestic abuse, and some may even interpret it as a metaphorical allegory for a drug addiction. Concerning Teru again, my intent is to take her (metaphorical) skin and peel it back to reveal the sickening, rotting layers of her persona beneath; a control freak and a monster, but one who wants to stop this endless train wreck of a life - one that you are allowed to feel sorry for, and wish to comfort. Teru's running in circles and can't stop, a marionette from the mechanical puppet freakshow controlling her, with no end in sight. But it ends, alright. It ends with hurt. *wink, wink*
Bewitched: Another upcoming Saki fanfic with this crappy title slapped on it, which will be revised in the future somehow to add a spice of more originality to it. Another working title is probably "Whish" or just "Wish", but I don't know how I'd cram that last one in to fit the concept of the story. Very much a planned social commentary against the sexism, homophobia, and racism that runs rampant throughout this world, this upcoming fantasy tale is set in the (extremely alternate universe) land of Salem, Massachusetts, 1692 in Colonial Times, and whether you are an American or not, you know the significance between that year and place. Two completely innocent individuals - bet you can guess who? - are prosecuted under claims of bewitched evil, the paranoia of the town council dispatching witchfinders to complete the task brutally and swiftly; and topped off with a humiliating execution of both of them. However, even before all that, allies exist; allies who won't let this tragedy happen even if it costs them their lives. A story focused on the relationship between Saki and Koromo, and Ryuumonbuchi and Kiyosumi set in completely different times and places and without those school labels slapped on them. And also focused on the misery and ruined lives created by the plague of this world's cruelty and corruption - that, even since the 1700s and before, still exists to this day and as long as humans exist, will never be conquered and exterminated.
The Amaecist: There's something wrong with Koromo. We all know that. Beyond the unusual enough stunted physical development/growth and the postponed mental maturity lies moodswings, sorrow, and grief. Grief under the shattering glass moon. She isn't a "normal" kid, but since when was normal ever a word? We all have our differences...and then there's Koromo. Not a person, a demon. But she isn't a demon. She's a person. But how does that all make sense? A normal person who, behind the facade of demon power, is fragile and damaged, just like any other human being because, fuck, that's what she is. But that doesn't erase the possibility of a "demon" being inside her. Because, at one point, there really was. Let me put it this way; maybe next time, a Ouija board wouldn't be the brightest thing to play with one night, okay, Koromo?
TBA: I'm too stumped to name, or even think of the plot setup, of this one yet, but know this; it's gonna be the ol' game of cops and criminals. And guns. And alternate universes. Possibly a crossover, maybe not.
