The summer before Harry's third year, the Dursleys are not so forgiving about what happened with the cake drop. Then RoR gives Harry book bag full of diaries and papers written by Lily Evans in 1970s. He reads Lily's Diaries and learns about parents & new magic

When Dolores Umbridge exposes the existence of Dumbledore's Army, she and Fudge don't settle with letting Harry go unpunished. Dumbledore evades arrest but Harry isn't as lucky. Charged with sedition, Harry works with allies old and new to clear his name before Voldemort can use his situation to his advantage. His enemies learn soon that Gryffindors don't back down from a fight.

After losing the war, Harry Potter finds a ritual to send himself back to his fourth year at Hogwarts, hoping to stop the rise of Lord Voldemort. A time-travel, powerful Harry story. With a good Dumbledore and a less socially awkward Harry. There will be some romance, though not as part of the main plot. No bashing.

Harry meets himself from a different reality. Will this person help him with his fight with Voldemort? Or will he set him on a different path?

Lazy!Harry is back, although he has lost his way a bit.

After Cedric dies, Harry isolates himself and Dumbledore fears a connection between Harry and Lord Voldemort. Snape has his own problems when Dumbledore compels him to teach Harry Occlumancy whilst the Dark Lord orders him to brew the darkest potion he has ever encountered. But what of this gift Lily left for Harry's 15th birthday...and what does it have to do with Snape?

Sometimes, a question is better left unasked. After asking one such question, Harry finds himself shunned by the rest of the school He decides to accept this and sets off on his own to face a deadly series of trials in a Tournament he wanted no part of. After the events at the Quidditch World Cup leave Harry and Hermione at loose ends, help arrives in the form of Remus Lupin and a determined Sirius Black. With Voldemort set to rise again and a new year full of new enemies, Hermione struggles to understand why Harry has been systematically beat down and how she can protect him from the very people tasked with keeping him safe.

Struck by the Killing Curse of Lord Voldemort in the Forbidden Forest, Harry Potter meets Death. Death provides him an opportunity. An opportunity that allows him to do more than survive, to finally live the life he has been deprived of. An opportunity that sends our protagonist back in time to the end of his second year. Rated M just in case.

The Triwizard Tournament was a chance for Voldemort to regain his body and when he had Harry Potter captured at the graveyard, he thought that his grand plan had worked out perfectly. There was just one small problem with a bit of information that he had lacked.

Harry Potter travels back in time in order to change some things, hoping to build a better future for himself. More details in the opening chapters.

A grave error made by Lockhart turns the wizarding world on its head. It ends quite badly for him, but he inadvertently manages to save the wizarding world.

The trio of friends played their part in defeating the Dark Lord, only to discover that nothing had changed and they'd actually lost the war. What if the victors only thought they'd won?

This story is inspired by the fanfiction story titled 'Guy Fawkes Day' by MisterQ. Go read it! Space Expansion Charms are unforgiving when misused in that story. Harry witnesses what happens when expansion charms are compromised in the green flames in the Floo network. And Magical Britain twists and turns the events to fit the narrative they are most comfortable with.

Despite how impossible it seemed, Harry was sure his dad had saved the three of them from the dementors. After Hermione's time turner took them both back three hours, he was desperate to discover if who he'd seen casting that patronus was truly his dad. Harry certainly wasn't disappointed when his mum turned up instead, and changed the entire course of his life. Harry/Hermione

AU. Soon after Cornelius Fudge becomes Minister in April 1990, Lucius Malfoy tracks down Harry Potter to the wizard boy's house on Privet Drive in Little Whinging. Lucius's plot? Harry returns to Privet Drive for his summer break after having witnessed the resurrection of Lord Voldemort only to be confronted by a strange visitor who makes him realize the truth and reality about being a hero and a warrior.

AU. On the second day of fifth year, Harry, not Hermione, receives a letter from Hermione's father. The envelope is marked "READ ONLY WHEN YOU'RE ALONE." For days, Hermione burns with curiosity, but Harry chooses not to show Hermione the letter. Instead, Harry sends Hermione strange looks when he thinks she is unaware, and he acts strangely. The Pink Toad gets a rude surprise.

This is the "bits and bobs" stuff from my hard drive. It's mostly complete stuff, just I wasn't satisfied with it or thought it should be fleshed out. I present it to anyone who wants to read it. His mother's sacrifice, a few encounters with a few beings, along with a weird personality tick granted Harry something that could be 'The Power He Knew Not'. This will be a story of powerful Harry, but in not that sense, he will be funny, sarcastic and downright pain for those who tick him off. AU

Grey and pragmatic, Harry is not what he appears to others. His life of abuse and privation has resulted in him not easily trusting anyone, least of all adults and left him with a drive to be free of influence and to exact vengeance for the wrongs done to him and his family. This is the story of how he escapes the M.O.B. - Manipulative Old (Dumbledore) and forges a new life away.

Abused children do not blindly trust adults/other authority figures. They often develop a non-delusional form of paranoia just to minimize their exposure to additional pain/suffering. They are weary of potential saviors, especially if "the system" has failed them. Imagine a less trusting Harry enters the wizarding world, one w/a confidant. Assumes Marauders graduated in '75.

New problems arise on the evening of the third task. This tale is a Great Wandout Challenge story. Effectively it is as if Unexpected Consequences had been like playing a role play game at the novice level. The Core War tale has a far harder set of challenges. While not a sequel, this story assumes that you've read Unintended Consequences.

During Christmas of his first year at Hogwarts, Harry hears Ron and his brothers complain about their financial situation. He doesn't understand why the family doesn't do anything about it. He tells them just that and it sparks an idea that will grow.

Loosely based on Reptilia28's "Don't Fear the Reaper" Challenge. In 1998, Harry and Hermione both die and both meet their Reapers. They are sent back in time to 1991—distinct from their younger selves. They each have been given an Eternity spell that will change their body, their accent and their magical signature, to hide their true identity. H/Hr. Bashing of AD/RW.

Harry learns that Horcruxes don't work as advertised. They work but not in the manner contemporary wizards think. His fifth year at Hogwarts is complicated by Horcruxes, visitors, pink toads, and headmasters with their own agendas. (Bash Umbridge quickly and then more and more on Dumbles. Lots of OC's show up in the story)

Nineteen years after the Battle of Hogwarts, Harry was standing on Platform 9 3/4. He had seen his two sons, James and Albus, leave for Hogwarts. Life was good. What can go wrong? Well! Let's see! There were all those odd feelings that he had been sweeping under the carpet. No one knew about that, did they? Harmony and HEA

August 1994, Dumbledore needs to consolidate his power in Magical Britain. He wanted the Tri-Wizard Tournament and the ministry was reluctant to provide the funds. So, he arranges a trial for Sirius. Harry is confined to the Burrow and comes into conflict with Molly who loses her temper. There are consequences.

AU. At Harry's August 1995 trial in front of the Wizengamot for use of underage magic and violating the Statute of Secrecy, Lucius Malfoy and Dolores Umbridge got Harry convicted, and got Harry sentenced to death by Kiss. ("Kind" Dumbledore asked that Harry be "merely" sent to Azkaban for life.) But as the Dementor is drawing close to Harry, something unexpected happens. H/Hr

Harry's brooding after lessons with Dumbledore leads him to find a portrait he'd never seen before. In it he found more helpful advice than any one living had ever managed. How can a portrait of a servant help Harry defeat Voldemort? Wandlessly of course. No pairings for Harry.

What if instead of ignoring Dobby's warnings at the summer after Harry Potter's first year, Harry listened and heeded instead? An escape from Privet Drive and from the manipulations of a certain Headmaster. Dumble bashing, Harmony story.

During the Tri-Wizard Tournament, Harry entered the third task and never came out. This is the story of Hermione and all those left behind. Four months later Hermione finds evidence of Harry and everything starts falling apart even faster. Then she finds him barely alive and their world explodes. AU. H/Hr.

Vernon gets the smarts when accidental magic in response to a bellow breaks the compulsion to be mean to Harry. He is well sore with the magical world which is making a child soldier by grooming Harry, so he decides to turn the weapon back on them by teaching Harry all he needs to survive.

Fate intervenes in the Graveyard. The epic test of wills between Tom and Harry shifts from wands to words.

When Hermione is hurt during the fight at the Ministry of Magic at the end of her fifth year, no one knows how to cure her. Harry thinks he has a way, but what price will he have to pay? How will his choice affect his destined confrontation with Lord Voldemort?

Harry takes a moment to help another Champion during the Second Task, and the unexpected aftermath forever changes his life.

Harry's stay at the Leaky Cauldron in August 1993 gives him chance to explore magical subjects and read books without interference from adults or opinions of peers for the first time. He changes his elective to Runes for his third year. The Dementors attack and make the year difficult. And there's a crazy convict after him. This changes his life and prospects. No ships. Bash! Bash!

Almost everyone within miles of Little Hangleton loses access to their magic. Who suffers? Who finds ways to benefit? Post Riddle tale. Workplace Harmony. Lots of O-Cs.

As summer 96 ends Albus Dumbledore dreams about golden egg Harry retrieved from dragon in first task of tournament. He cannot understand why he is dreaming about the egg. Albus cannot discover who inherited Black title and wealth. Dark Lord hiding and Cornelius Fudge clings to office. Gringotts not happy with Albus. Harry Potter remains quiet in Surry. No ships. Bashing Everyone.

The Goblet is older than everyone ever thought, and during the choosing of the champions at Hogwarts it wakes up. It wakes up, it realizes it has been duped, and it's upset. It cleanses Harry, then sends Him and his bonded to a better place. When they return, The magical world won't know what hit them.

Harry gets his Hogwarts letter, but finds he doesn't really qualify as a student and doesn't fit in Albus Dumbledore's plans. See what happens when Harry doesn't go to Hogwarts. Warning: not a good story for those who love Albus.

The Potters have a house-elf Dumbledore didn't know about, who will take care of Harry no matter what ... and possibly take care of other things too. (Oneshot. Spoof or crack, you decide.

Changes to the story take place between Dumbledore fleeing from Hogwarts and the OWLs. Moderately evil Dumbledore. Marked Mature because the story addresses PSTD and abuse. After Harry wins the war, life quickly returns to as it was and not in a good way. A bit of a twist on things going downhill and what Harry and friends have to do to survive … in a different way with a few OC's along the way.

AU. 30th October 1991—the night before the troll attacks Hermione in the lavatory, Hermione hears a prophecy about herself, Harry (the "true friend"), Ron (the "false friend") and Dumbledore ("the bearded liar"). Eventual H/Hr. Bashing of Dumbledore and of the three evil Weasleys. Alternate title: "For once the adults do their bloody jobs."

Harry's defeat of Voldemort is certainly different than in canon.

In the summer after 5th year, Hermione is targeted by Death Eaters. One dies and she ends up banished; expelled from Hogwarts, her magic bound, she and her parents are obliviated. Now the Death Eater's are out for her blood, but she doesn't even know they are coming. And Harry finally comes to realise what she means to him. The beginning of a very new journey. AU H/Hr

AU. In the summer of 1996, Albus Dumbledore is put on trial by an adoring Wizengamot. Too bad for him that Augusta Longbottom is presiding at his trial and that Arthur Weasley is in hospital. Dumbledore bashing, mention of H/Hr, Sirius lives.

An updated and improved brew of the original 2017 publishing of The Potioneer's Assistant. While the story is a bit different, the friendships are the same as are the conflicts in the Destiny of one Harry James Potter. AD/RW/DM bash, Mentor Severus Snape, Good Dursleys. Mundane computer science is mixed with ancient magic to create a cauldron full of adventure and friendship!

In 2057, elderly Hermione Granger builds a shapeshifting female Terminator, and sends it/her back in time to 1995. In June of 1995, in the Little Hangleton graveyard, Harry and Cedric, and Peter, Tom and Nagini meet what seems to be a naked young woman with apple-red, bushy hair. This is an H/Hr crossover alternate-universe story.

Harry and Ginny were fed up with the way other people meddled in their lives. Too many people messed the hard-won victory, a victory that took too many deaths to achieve, up for their own goals. Thus, they go to extremes to correct the mistakes of the past.

Thrown back in time from 2019 to 1991, a grown and disgruntled Harry Potter finally has the chance to change his life for the better, fixing things before everything went wrong and becoming the father figure for his younger self that he never had. Maybe he now actually has a chance at happiness, both for him and his younger self, and just maybe a chance at romance as well...

29th October 1990: Whilst hiding from Dudley, Harry reads a book in the school library, CAMPFIRE TALES FOR BOYS. Four years and two days later, when the Goblet of Fire spits out Harry's name, Harry tries something that he had read about in that children's book.

Starts with Harry's journey to confront Voldemort after the Battle of Hogwarts. The difference is, he doesnt go alone. In King's Cross, Harry finds out that he has been manipulated by many people in his life. But now, he has the chance to go back.

Inspiration can strike anywhere. A comment, an action, an event can all be used to spark that inspiration and change the course of magical futures. This compilation will be the new home of my one shots. They are as of publishing done and dusted. Slight to moderate bashing of characters depending on the story.

Looks at the beginning of the story from a more adult view rather than as a children's story, plus a small change. The outcome changes significantly.

AU. During the Battle of Hogwarts, Voldemort kills Lucius Malfoy for desertion. Twenty-nine days later, Queen Elizabeth ends the Treaty of Separation of Magical Britain from Nonmagical Britain. By then, Harry Potter has a wife (Hermione), a concubine (Narcissa), lordship of twenty Houses and custody of Voldemort's daughter Delphini.

What happens when Bill Weasley decides to repay Harry Potter for saving his only little sister? Harry finds his freedom! Freedom from the Dursleys, freedom from Dumbledore's manipulations, and freedom from the horcruxes. Even Sirius Black, his godfather, gets a little freedom. Join Harry in an adventure during the summer between his 2nd and 3rd years of Hogwarts that sets him free!

Renamed from 'The Big Box of Silliness', due to complaints that not all the stories were silly. Of course most of them aren't Thrilling either, but you've got to admit, they are Unusual...

AU starting end of Fifth year. Hermione was hurt a bit more by Dolohov's curse, and Harry needs to do something to fix it. It all goes off the rails from there. Tropes galore, I'm terribly mean to several characters I don't like (i.e. most adults and the youngest Weasleys)

My odd ideas file. Little snippets that don't quite merit their own stories. Some funny; some less so.

Enraged after Sirius's death and the injury of all his friends, Harry is sent back in time to fix things - but with only Muggle power! VERY Grey, ANGRY take-charge Harry. Some Dumbles and Weasley bashing. Fast-paced drama, humour, parody, angst, romance, violence, horror, and uumm... that's all really. 24000-word 4-chapter fast-paced novella.

My answer to Reptilia28's challenge. Six times has Harry Potter died young instead of killing Tom Riddle and marrying his soulmate Hermione. The seventh time that Harry's soul is sent into his younger body, Harry keeps his older memories and he has a plan. But if he fails, both his body and soul shall die. An H/Hr story that bashes Dumbledore and our most unfavourite Weasleys.

Albus Dumbledore's plans are falling apart and he doesn't know who is doing it. Worse, Harry Potter is kidnapped from his relatives house by his parents and Sirius Black wants him back. What is a master manipulator to do? AU Rating for assault and murder.

Sirius falls through the veil, Harry follows. They wind up somewhere new. Knowing there's no way back, they seek to help their world as best they can. Just a quick one-shot. Dumbles bashing.

AU. Four days after Dumbledore has informed Hogwarts that the school will be hosting the Triwizard Tournament this year, Harry plays a hunch and sneaks off to Gringotts. At Gringotts, Harry begins a plan. Later, when the Goblet of Fire spits out Harry's name, Dumbledore is shocked by what Harry does next. This is an H/Hr story that bashes Dumbledore and Ron.

A place to put all of the snippets and ideas that are never going anywhere. Mostly Crackfics.

Two days after returning home from fifth-year classes and O.W.L. exams, Daphne Greengrass finds on her pillow, a letter from her much-older self. Included in this letter is a Muggle envelope addressed to Harry Potter from his much-older self. This is an alt-universe GreenPot Harmony (H/Hr and HP/DG) story that bashes Albus Dumbledore and Ron Weasley.

The resting place of stories that started out strong before the muse that was driving them took off for parts unknown. All of these are up for adoption, if they appeal to you, and you think you can make them work, have at it. Let me know when you publish, so I can see how they look when they grow up.

What if Hermione told the truth about why she was atacked in first year?

When Harry learns something that could prove he didn't enter himself into the Triwizard Tournament, he decides to take it once step further and prank everyone in retaliation. However, his prank may have some unforeseen side effects. COMPLETE! Edited as of 11/13/19!

Things didn't entirely get swept aside after the conclusion of the TWT. Dumbledore doesn't get his way. Riddle or Fudge won't either. Some OCs have large roles.

After the Tri-Wizard Tournament, journalists write inflammatory articles focusing on danger of loss of so many magical families. Everyone ignores report that Dark Lord has returned. Dumbledore convenes Order of the Phoenix where he and Molly Weasley push forward a betrothal between Harry & Ginny without considering penalties of Family Magic.

At Dumbledore's funeral, Harry plans to leave his girlfriend behind while he goes to war. Ginny presents another plan. This is a book7 replacement with Harry being motivated to be smarter and wiser.

Sirius escapes with Harry after the Potters die. He makes it all the way into the US before Death Eaters catch up to them and he has to abandon Harry. Now Harry is alone. With no name, no history, and no trace. Then, after 13 years, Harry returns to Britain as a very different person. With a completely different view of Magic. A view that breaks everything. H/Hr.

Harry gets to his ministry trial ten minutes early instead of five minutes late, and so meets his lawyer: a blonde witch dressed in pink. "Hi there! I'm Elle Woods."

It's finally happened: The Lone Traveler became a God. With the Divine name Marek Ilumian, Patron God of Free Will, Minor God of Knowledge and Travel, sometimes he goes over the top. Response to a challenge issued by Reptilia28. I've read a few responses to this challenge as well as other stories that have Harry or another character going back in time to fix things. However, I sometimes get impatient as I'm reading them. So, I decided to write a version of this cliché where very little time was wasted. Harry has a life to live, and he's got no time to waste.

The summer prior to 6th year Harry deals with Tom in a decisive, if accidental manner. That summer Harry gets a girl friend in Susan Bones, and sets about some self improvement. It is after this change to himself he discovers something a bit disturbing about the Wizarding World, something that Hermione Granger is determined to use to her advantage.
