Hello readers! I am somewhat successfully active again. I finally updated Mission Impossible, and posted a new one-shot as well called Yakusoku. Check 'em out!
I'm trying to make a comeback and at least finish Mission Impossible. So stay tuned. As long as I don't lose my momentum I should have another chapter for MI before too long. The next chapter is one of my favorites after all, and having a piece I enjoy working on usually helps me stay faithful to writing. Part of the reason the last chapter took so long was because I didn't like it, but it was necessary stuff. I also recently went through and cleaned up a few errors in the first 8 chapters. If you find any mistakes I missed please let me know via PM or review as soon as you can. Preferably before the draft files get deleted from my account (sometime within the next 3 months). It's just a lot easier to make changes when you don't have to re-upload the file.
I'm sorry to say there isn't much coming up with other stories. I used to have dreams of finishing my other works in progress, but let's face it, I have trouble keeping up with one story. I'm currently trying to write an original story, and working on Mission Impossible just kind of helps when I'm stuck on that work. So you should probably consider all my other works in progress to be indefinitely on-hiatus. Maybe I'll go back to them someday. Eighteen Years was always a favorite of mine, and I've considered rebooting it a few times, but for now I'm really just going to try and finish Mission Impossible, since that was always the fan-favorite anyway.
I did just post a one-shot that I'd written a few years ago and never put up. Therefore it's new to you guys but not to me. I also wrote a new chapter of… Something, a few years back. I’m trying to decide if it’s meant to be a follow up to Simplicity or a standalone short series. My biggest fear is that if I add to Simplicity I’m going to screw up what I already had, which was a pretty short and sweet concept, and ironically its ‘simplicity’ is part of what made it work. I originally wrote this new chapter as a standalone story, but somehow it seemed like the Ranma/Akane relationship evolved too quickly. If I were to make it a follow up to Simplicity it makes much more sense, although like I said, I’m worried about ruining what is one of my favorite self written one-shots with something that's not quite on the same level.
But yeah, anyway, I am attempting to finish MI again! Drop me a PM or a review and let me know your thoughts on some of these ideas if you’d like. Hopefully it’ll motivate me to work faster!
Thank you to everyone who has reviewed and encouraged me throughout the years. You are all so awesome and I only wish I was a more faithful writer to you all!
Lots of love,
~ C ~
