Author has written 3 stories for Final Fantasy VII.
Caesari is not my real name. Sorry, was that obvious? My real name is something Italian sounding and rhymes with “spaghetti”… which I only just realised.
Although I am sort of Italian and sort of French, I only write in English with other languages thrown in because I vaguely consider myself British, and though I can speak Italian I’m not very good at writing it, and I can barely hold an intelligent conversation in French, let alone write anything purely in that language. (Basically, I put them in to sound exotic and interesting, lol).
I technically live in Marylebone (in Westminster, London) though I’m hopefully going to university in little over a month in Greater London, which is both bad and good because it’s practically in the country and the country terrifies me. So when I’m not in London I’m normally in Italy, because my uncle works part-time in Rome as well as London (which is not as cool as you’d think: like I said, my Italian’s pretty limited).
I’m not actually a gamer: I’ve played a bit of my friend’s games of FF7 and Crisis Core and I basically just like the pretty people. Sorry to let you down.
What you can expect to see from me:
Extremely erratic writing, for which you’ll find I’m full of excuses.
I’m very obsessed with the classical world (I’ll hopefully be studying for a degree in Classics in September, so don’t expect much from me from then until Christmas) which you WILL notice in my writing. I’m also really interested in certain areas of history (e.g. the French Revolution; Ancient Rome (particularly the transition from republic to principality); Georgian and Regency Britain; the Industrial Revolution, etc.), so you can expect to see these sorts of themes.
As well as ancient literature, I’m pretty obsessed with English literature all the way from Chaucer to James Joyce (though I’m not much of a fan of recent novels – if you’ve tried reading Twilight you’ll understand why), so if the constant references annoy you I can only apologise, because I’m not likely to stop.
I am a massive slash fan, and although some hetero material may feature in my writing you can expect it to be mainly slash.
I’m neither good at nor interested in writing cute stuff. I also don’t like to make characters that are completely nice, at least not main characters. I like my characters to have slightly dubious morals and behave primarily out of self-interest; I don’t know why, maybe I’m just a cynic.
I will probably write slash for HP and LOTR as well as FF7. Just so you know. There are more things in heaven and earth.
Other than that, I’ve got a few pieces on the go right now, though by main focus is on Men and Gentleman, which I’ll hopefully have completed before I go to uni.
