Author has written 26 stories for Twilight, and Warm Bodies, Isaac Marion.
Hi. I am a fan of Stephenie Meyer's Twilight series. I love this world Stephenie has created, and I love playing in it. I was thrilled to discover FanFiction since it meant I have playmates in this sandbox of Forks, Washington!
I find writing a fascinating and humbling experience. Some of the stories I create appear in my head almost like a movie, one in which characters move through a complete and full visual experience. Then when I write, I realize I often leave out both key items and minor details that were present in my head. So much to capture, but will others find it tedious or boring? What is necessary to bring the vision to life for a reader?
I have a banner for my drabble-fic, Prey for Him, created once again by the amazing celesticbliss! Here it is, and for those who are curious about the direction of the story, there are clues to what's going to happen in the banner. I'm very excited about it.
I had originally only planned on posting The Insurgency, which is a story of a post-apocolyptic world ruled by Vampires in which Bella is a Resistance Fighter. It is a sprawling and messy story, containing a huge universe and spanning twenty years.
I also have a few other stories. Twenty have been completed, and several are still being posted.
The first is Saving Her Dream, a "what if" alternate-scene style story taken from Breaking Dawn. In this story, what if Bella had been so frightened by the prospect of Carlisle and Edward terminating her pregnancy that she took off for a few weeks, trying to give the baby enough time to develop so that it could be delivered safely?
The second, Bella and the Tree Spirit. is bit different from anything else I have seen posted on Twilight FanFiction. It was prompted by the questions of what if Caius had a girlfriend when he was human? What would she think if she saw him now?" Since Caius has been a vampire for about 3,400 years, trying to figure out what kind of being could have been a girlfriend back in 1300 BC and still be around required a stretch of the imagination. I hope you like the results.
I also finished posting The Heat - Another Jasper/Bella Kidnap Story. Title says it all, and it has a companion outtake posted separately from Jasper's POV, The Heat and Fire.
I've got another quick little story, a two-shot, called Chinese Take-out, Vampire Style, based on a scene from "Vampires Suck". If you saw the movie (admit you did), you'll be familiar with the storyline. It's classed as Humor for a reason, and Jasper has fangs, just like in the movie.
I had a weird nightmare which I decided to write up and post, called My Spooky Nightmare - A Second Chance at Life. This story took some rather unusual turns along the way.
I have a dark Jasper/Bella story, Her Keeper. This was originally a series of scenes from The Insurgency, but I liked it so much that as it started to develop, I gave it a different background and started posting it separately. This is a story of a cat-and-mouse game between vampire Jasper and human Bella. It occurs in the "standard" human world, in current time, where vampires still live in secret, thought they have a more structured society. Human Bella tries to outrun Predator Jasper. There are two versions of this story, both posted under the same title.
Back in 2012, I decided to post some one-shots of vampire Jasper meeting and claiming human Bella. This turned into my 6 chapter story (because each one-shot turned into 2 chapters) Halloween 2012. I eventually added a Christmas and New Year's Eve update to the first story in the series. In 2013, I did a second take on the series, Halloween 2013. I had so much fun with these that I did short Valentine stories for Valentines Day in 2013, 2014 and 2015 and have come back with Halloween stories each year as well.
After seeing the movie "Warm Bodies," I thought it would be fun to try writing for another fandom. So I posted some character sketches in a story called Seeking Life, but shut it down for lack of interest. I then wrote second story in a more traditional format called A Dark Negative of Love In this version, Julie and R meet in her world, not his.
And I've decided to have another go at my original fanfiction story, The Insurgency. I left so much out the first time around because of the flashback structure, that I'm going to do it again. The new version is called Slouching Towards Bethlehem. I have been updating it a bit less regularly than my other stories.
In 2013 I experiment with writing drabble in a story I posted called Prey for Him. It's marked horror/angst for a reason, as it's a very bumpy ride.
Catching Bella dabbles in the world of shifting, though Bella doesn't become a wolf, and there is no involvement with the pack.
My latest story, Vices and Vamps, is set in a Seattle inspired by events from Eclipse.
Right now I'm working on a series of little Halloween stories, in honor of the October holiday, where vampire Jasper meets human Bella. I'll begin posting in October. They'll be called Halloween 2016. Check them out.
I hope you will give these stories a chance and leave me a review. I'm on FaceBook and Twitter as fourmejasper.
