Author has written 2 stories for Twilight.

Like many people, I felt like the popularity of the Twilight series was in direct conflict with the quality of the work. But I thought there were a lot of good starting points in the book, and decided to write a reimagining of the series.

Please note that I am not a hater, especially of the fans, I just wanted to try my hand at rewriting these books in a way that I felt made more sense to me. I hope other people will like them, too.

I am using the actual books as the skeleton of my rewrites, and will include parts of Stephenie Meyer's original writing in an effort to make the rhythm and style of the book more or less the same. However, many of the characters' backstories, motivations and the way this fantasy world works will be changed to fit with my vision. I really feel that a lot of the biggest problems with the books were missed opportunities with character development and a lack of realistic chemistry or plot progression. Even some of the basic things, like making the characters sympathetic, were done clumsily.

Nevertheless, Stephenie Meyer is now rich beyond her wildest dreams and that means I feel no guilt whatsoever in trying to rewrite this "love story" so that it is more palatable to me. What I write won't hurt or offend her because she's got better things to worry about. Try to respond to this in the same way, if you are filled with fannish rage toward me. Thanks!

(Current news: I am still working on New Moon Reworked. I completed Twilight Reworked before I began posting. This one is planned out but I do not already have it finished, and I will be starting graduate school soon. Please be patient with me because I cannot guarantee regular updates on New Moon Reworked.)

New Moon Reworked reviews
My reimagining of New Moon, by Stephenie Meyer, using the original as the skeleton. (Read Twilight Reworked to see the new character histories and the new way that the vampires work.) I am enhancing the strengths and removing the weaknesses of the story to create a new and exciting love story with heavier plot and character development. Please leave me feedback!

Twilight Reworked reviews
My reimagining of Twilight, by Stephenie Meyer. I wrote this as an exercise in writing, reworking the character histories and development in an effort to create something that made more sense to me than the original book did, and changing "filler" chapters so they are plot-relevant. Please leave me feedback!
