Author has written 16 stories for Naruto, and Teen Titans.
I've been writing for most of my life and I think I'm pretty good. I was writing on here back in 2010 I think but I don't know what happened that made me stop but I'm back now. I've had a bunch of ideas bouncing around in my head and I've been writing them down, the story ideas I mean, but not actually writing them out. Well I had an idea that I really liked and I wanted to share it with others which is how I came back here.
Writing is fun. Or at least it's supposed to be fun. Something a person does because they want to. Doesn't matter if they think they're good at it or not. If you don't try you can't fail but if you try and fail that's just a stepping stone to doing better next time. If I'm in a rut I don't despair, well I don't completely despair cause having writer's block sucks, but when I do fall into a block I take a step back, I take a breather, I work on something else for a while before I come back to my original story. I challenge my limits too. I first thought I couldn't write more than 2 thousand words in one sitting but I pushed myself and discovered that I can write 6 thousand instead.
Some thing that readers don't understand yet is that most writers write for themselves. It's a leisure activity, like reading, but putting your own ideas and what you want to happen on the page instead. We post it because we want to hear what you think of it, not because we want a co-author, unless specified, and since we've taken the time to share a little piece of ourselves and you readers have expressed that you're picking up what I'm putting down then some constructive reviews would be nice.
I like reviews that help me, challenge me, give me something to think about, not 'update pls' or 'nice story' or 'waiting for the next update!'. Those aren't reviews! A review is you telling me why you're following my story. Tell me what jumped out at you about this chapter. What you like about this character. Where you think the plot is going. Even if you think a particular scene was unbelievably, point it out and suggest an alternative for me to consider.
In the same sense I dislike when people complain that authors are always begging for reviews yet at the same time that same person follows a story and doesn't review. It doesn't add up to me. Stop it. Shut up too.
I love prompts. Like yea, shoot me a prompt and let's talk about it more. Let me envision what you're thinking about. But just cause you've regaled this fantastical tale to me it doesn't mean I'll write it. I'll be Frank. I write when the inspiration is there so if I'm not feeling any sparks rest assured that you will never see your story written and published by me. And another thing is, if you only message me with a great idea but you don't follow or read any of my stories lest of review anything I'm even less inclined to even consider your prompt, I'm just being honest.
