Author has written 7 stories for Twilight.
So what do you need to know and what should I tell you? That I'm female, that I'm 5 feet 8? That I love music and words and sing while I do the dishes? That I have my shelves filled with only books I know I want to read again? That I am technically retarded with cars and plumbing but otherwise good with my hands? That I love my friends, and keep them close, even the ones I haven't met face to face for many years? That I've been writing fan fiction since I was 12 but didn't know until a couple of years ago that it was called fan fiction?
I'm starting out with a short piece, trying out my paces: Creep. Edward is a creep - or is he? An all-human story, with possibly some lemons down the road, I'm not sure... Oh, and I don't have a beta, so bear with me, please! All mistakes are mine and mine alone.
So, thank you to everyone who encouraged me when starting out with Creep! Now I'm working on a longer piece with another version of Edward and Bella: Mirror, mirror on the wall. In so many fics Edward is older than Bella. I wondered what would happen if the age difference was reversed...?
Mirror, mirror on the wall is now complete! Thanks to everyone who read and encouraged me! Now I'm thinking about new ideas...
The Nanny is a one-shot written for the MakeMeLaugh contest. It's one of those ideas that I might expand into a new story..tell me what you think!
Near Wild Heaven is a one-shot written for the TLS Angst contest, and is the germ of a multi-chapter story. Please help me decide which idea to start on!
WOW! Loving the Alien, my entry for the Age of Edward contest 2013 came in 2nd in the Public Vote, and got a nod from some of the judges, too. I'm overwhelmed and really, really happy, especially since the subject matter seemed sensitive and I wasn't sure if people would approve. A huge thank you to everyone who read and everyone who voted - this means a lot to me! You can now follow me on Twitter @TheFanWhoWasnt - but don't tempt me to spend too much time there!! :)
I'm really happy that my final contest contribution, for the Light the Darkness contest, Before Sunrise, got a nod from one of the judges - Ooza - (who incidentally is an amazing writer I admire!) and kind reviews from readers! 2014 is looking interesting: I've now got five (six?) story-ideas to work on!
You know the drill: Stephenie Meyer created the original Edward and Bella, not me, and she is bringing in all the glory and cash. I'm just playing around here, because once upon a time a certain Toadward started speaking to me...
