Hello! So, a bit about me:I am a generally happy person I am a huge feminist. I enjoy my coworkers, but my job is quite frustrating, so I vent via writing I prefer to read than write, but I am slowly moving toward writing. Unfortunately I love both and usually wish to do both at the same time. I am asexual, so I don't really have a reference when it comes to sexual attraction other than what I've read. I don't enjoy peanut butter, shellfish, or being treated like I'm unable to learn.
My bucket list:Write and publish a book Inspire just one person in a positive way To make a person's life truly better Graduate college To see all of my siblings find what they want in life
A bit about how I work:I write when I get inspired or when people make me. I am not proud of that and am trying to find ways of forcing myself to write Everything I learn about writing is from reading, so I try to read a variety of topics and writing styles. I reread everything I write before I post it, sometimes sending it to a beta. If you find ANY mistakes in my writing (of any nature), please tell me. You can do it in a review, a pm, or ask me for other ways to contact me. I do have a tumblr, so if you want to send it to me anonymously, I don't mind. I listen to all kinds of criticism, so if there is a problem or suggestion you have for my writing, I will pay attention to it. Again, you can send it to me in any format. I do some research, sometimes a bit too extensively and sometimes not nearly enough.
Now that that's been said:I KNOW I am not the world's best author. I don't pretend to be, which is why I continue writing; I want to be better. If things start getting creepy, as in you start saying weird things, I WILL ignore you. I'm sorry, but that's more of a warning than a threat.
Now for some motivation and quotes!!"Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time." --Thomas Edison "The secret to getting ahead is getting started." --Mark Twain "By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail" --Benjamin Franklin “If you don't have time to read, you don't have the time (or the tools) to write. Simple as that.” --Stephen King “Writing is a socially acceptable form of schizophrenia.” --E.L. Doctorow “Start writing, no matter what. The water does not flow until the faucet is turned on.” --Louis L'Amour “Being a writer is a very peculiar sort of a job: it's always you versus a blank sheet of paper (or a blank screen) and quite often the blank piece of paper wins.” --Neil Gaiman “You can make anything by writing.” --C.S. Lewis “You can't wait for inspiration. You have to go after it with a club.” -- Jack London “One always has a better book in one's mind than one can manage to get onto paper.” --Michael Cunningham “You don't write about the horrors of war. No. You write about a kid's burnt socks lying in the road.” --Richard Price
Thank you for your consideration. Please feel free to talk to me about whatever. I'll respond when I can. My door is always open (unless you start harassing me.)
I hope to hear from you at some point :)
