Regarding my story Learning to Trust:
The people who say Bella is opening up to soon are wrong, but everybody entitled is to their own opinion. You give all sexual survivors the same label; every single abuse survivor reacts differently to the abuse they suffer. I use the word survivor because I refuse to become a victim. I know this, because I am one, both me and my sister suffered at the hands of a sadistic pervert. We both had different ways of handling what happened to us.
It didn't scare us away from other males. Some of my best friends, after going through this, were male. But I just found it more comfortable to be around some males, than I did females, because honestly, males don't try and pry into your secrets. My sister reacted, the total opposite to males; she started to use them, for her own sexual gratification. So even after what she'd been through, she wasn't afraid of sex, she just used it as a weapon.
Not every survivor reacts like you're saying Bella should be reacting, I certainly didn't. What you have to remember is, Bella is opening up due to feeling secure at home and around these people, plus, she doesn't go into details with Charlie, he guesses, due to the work he does.
So, unless you've been through, I kindly tell you, I know what i'm doing. I'm using experiences of people I know and myself, to write this story and the way Bella reacts. Also, I found comedy a great output, especially when I was stressed. I'm the most sarcastic person I know.
Thank you for listening, I don't mean to offend anybody with my views, but I just wanted to get my experience across.
