Hi! I'm HogwartsDreamer113. Welcome to my profile! I'm an nineteen year old college sophomore from Minnesota and am majoring in Psychology and pre-Occupational therapy. I love reading and writing (duh), dogs, and the great outdoors. :) I'm proud to be both a Christian AND LGBT rights supporter.
I play Finnick and Mags on the best Hunger Games Roleplay on the site. We have donuts, and we're always looking for new members and are super friendly! Check us out here: http://www.fanfiction.net/forum/Hunger-Games-Roleplay-Forum/125204/

SYOT Characters. New rule: If I submit a character to your SYOT, I have worked hard on them. Therefore, it frustrated me that too often they are never written. Too many times, SYOT writers disappear with no word at all. Even a note on your profile will do. That being said, if you are in the reapings of your SYOT and you don't update for six months or longer, I will withdraw my character and submit them to another story. You have been warned.
Please, do not be one of those people who start an SYOT in the summer or during your two week/one month/however long vacation from school just because you have a ton of extra time on your hands. Because if you do, chances are you won't have time once school is back in session. Trust me. I've seen it happen again and again, and it's frustrating.
Sorry I'm so salty. This has just happened to me so much, and I'm sick of it.
Approximate number of SYOT stories submitted to (according to my alerts list, if I counted right): 36
SYOT stories completed: 5
SYOT stories in progress (in which my characters have been introduced): 12

My Fanfiction Friends
I have met some amazing friends on Fanfiction. Just in the states I have met people from Ohio, Florida, Pennsylvania, California, New Jersey, and South Carolina. From Foreign countries, I've met people from Canada, the UK, and Australia. I love learning about other cultures, so feel free to PM me and chat.
Check out these lovely people. These are the ones who are still active.
Jess (Wetstar): met Aug. 2012. They are a fluffy sheep. Don't question it. Jess is a great friend, and though they don't update too often, that's okay, because their updates are SO worth it. Jess is a major history nerd, so if you like history, go talk to them. :) My favorite story of theirs is At Second Glance, a story on the 55th Hunger Games. Writes mostly for Hunger Games.
(Kate) Kate-The-Great-And-Powerful: met July 2012. We met when I reviewed one of their stories, and she in turn reviewed one of mine. Kate never never fails to make me smile, and I wish they weren't so busy because I love talking to them. My favorite story of theirs is probably The Highlights, about one tribute from each games. Writes mostly for Hunger Games, but has a huge number of fandoms.
(Celtic) CelticGames4: met Jan. 2013. Celtic is a duck. She's a duck because her stories also make me cry. Every time. Again, don't question the nickname. On the other hand, Celtic is a great listener, and can always cheer you up if your sad. Has over twenty stories to choose from, my personal favorite being Once More Unto the Breech!. Writes for mostly Hunger Games, plus a few addition fandoms.
youngpatriot: Met Jan. 2015. A fabulous SYOT writer who never fails to support my own writing, even if she doesn't have a tribute in the story. She is one of the few SYOT writers who I have submitted to that has actually made it to the Games, and I love her cast of Capitolites. Recently, I found out that we're name twins, so that's pretty cool! She's an awesome person to talk to, and I love chatting with her. This is what happens when you reply to reviews. Beautiful friendships are made. :)
Sinfonian Legend (Legend): Met sometime in 2015, through Celtic. Though she isn't able to be on often, she has a interesting, intriguing fic called 72 Hours Remain that has been in the works since 2013! It's a pageturner!
In addition, check out my favorite authors list. All of the authors are on there for a reason. Most authors there write for Hunger Games or Harry Potter, but there are other fandoms too.
1. When a story receives hundred, perhaps thousands of hits, and only a small handful of reviews.
2. When someone favorites a story but doesn't review it. (If you favorite something, you obviously like it, so why not review? It's easy. It takes someone AT LEAST an half hour (usually more) to write a chapter, when it takes a reader about thirty seconds to review. That's it.)
3. When a fanfic has a English title but is written in Spanish/French/Portugese/etc. (Siriusly (please excuse the pun), why don't they make up a title in THEIR on language, so it catches the eye of someone who speaks the same language. I don't give my stories a Spanish title, when the story is in English. I don't get it.)
4. People who don't capitalize their stories titles and/or proper nouns and I's in summaries. I'm less likely read it if you don't know basic English capitalization rules or are to lazy to hold down the shift button.
5. People who say "Sorry, summary sucks, but the story is better!" in summaries. Not necessary. It usually draws me away.
6. People making straight characters gay and gay characters straight. Unless they are proven bi or pan by the author (like Magnus Bane).
7. Character Bashing.
8. SYOTs that don't update in 6 months with no notice...
