B.D.D (Big Damn Disclaimer)
I almost never remember to put individual disclaimers at the beginnings of my stories, so here's an all-purpose disclaimer which can be applied to everything I write:
-I do not own the characters, locations etc. portrayed in any work of fiction published under this username, unless otherwise specified (i.e. an original character or setting.) I also do not own any of the media I write fanfiction for, hence the term "fanfiction." I am a lowly fan, and nothing more. They are all the intellectual property of their original creators. Furthermore, any similarity between my published work and any real-life situation or other previously-published work is purely coincidental.
There's not really much I can say about myself. I am a lover of fantasy, horror, some sci-fi (currently the Matrix trilogy, A Scanner Darkly and Firefly) and...musicals. Lots of musicals. Yeah. Some may call me an emo, but I prefer to think of myself as a panda (chubby with lots of black around my eyes). I write anything and everything, and find new things to be obsessed with almost weekly, which makes for a good variety of fanfiction. I have written so much more than you see on this page, but none of it really deserves to see the light of day...
I am a proud Plague Rat and member of the Asylum Army. If you understood that, I unconditionally love you. If you're curious, message me, I'll be glad to enlighten you.
I've recently joined the legion of Sherlock fans, having binge-watched the entire series so far in less than a week. I can't get enough, Benedict Cumberbatch is beyond gorgeous - bordering on angelic - and I don't think I'm going to survive until 2015. God help me. (Hey, it's 2015. I'm still hanging in there.)
I'm not Canadian, though I may as well be, considering the amount of people who have asked me if I am. I just have a weird accent.
And finally, for those of you who give a damn, I'm on Tumblr under the name echo-echolalia. Follow me if you like.
List of Obsessions and Pairings (those in bold are the ones that I ship so hard it physically hurts)
-Buffy: The Vampire Slayer (Willow/Tara, Jenny C./Giles, Spike/Drusilla)
-Repo! The Genetic Opera (Mag/Nathan, Nathan/Marni)
-RENT (Roger/Mark, Roger/Mimi, Roger/OC, Collins/Angel, Maureen/Joanne)
-Les Miserables (I don't even know anymore.)
-V for Vendetta (Evey/V, as if there were any other pairings out there, I might be tempted into V/OC, but it never seems to go very well)
-Labyrinth (I've always loved this film!) (Jareth/Sarah, Occasional Jareth/OC)
-The Lost Boys (Star/Michael, David/Star, David/OC) [Since he never really had a love interest in the movie...]
-Next to Normal (Nope, nothing here. Awesome musical, though.)
-The Matrix Trilogy (Added May 2013) (Trinity/Neo, Trinity/Smith, Trinity/Switch - stay tuned for some of that soon!)
-Doctor Who (Rose/Ten, and occasionally Rose/Nine. Yes, that's a contradiction. No, I don't care.)
-Wicked (Fiyero/Elphaba, with occasional lapses into all-out Gelphie, and Boq/Nessarose, even though they didn't have much of a real romance in the musical*sadface*)
-Syfy's Alice (Hatter/Alice. Seriously. I don't think I've ever felt more love for a couple than I did in their final scene. My heart all but exploded from the feels.)
-Constantine/Hellblazer (Well... he doesn't have a steady partner. At all. So... I don't know. Is John/Me a ship? It bloody ought to be.)
-A Scanner Darkly (I ship nothing, but I adore both the book and the film.)
-Sherlock (Sherlock/Molly Hooper.)
-Firefly/Serenity (Inara/Mal, the greatest pairing that never quite came into being. Also Zoe/Wash, the greatest paring that did).
-Sleepy Hollow (Abbie/Ichabod. I can't even pretend I don't.)
-A Song of Ice and Fire/Game of Thrones (Daenerys/Khal Drogo, and, accidentally, Daenerys/Ser Jorah. Also Jaime/Brienne, just 'cause.)
-Marvel Cinematic Universe (The Avengers etc.) (Black Widow - Natasha Romanoff/Hawkeye - Clint Barton, Thor/Jane Foster. Yes, I ship Clint and Nat. I don't give a damn how married he is, they've got more chemistry than Nat and Bruce. So there.)
-Jack Taylor (Jack/Kate. Why is there no fanfic for this anywhere? Right, let's drum up a fanbase. Do you like crime drama, Ireland, alcoholism and unresolved cliffhangers? You DO? Well, do yourself a favour and watch this show! You won;t regret it, although by the time you get to the finale you will be cursing the writers of the show for leaving it at such a Godawful cutoff point.)
My Fanfiction pet hates:
-Views Without Reviews: Sort of a personal one, but I hate it when something I've written has views/visitors, but no reviews. Seriously. If you've taken the time out of your day to bother reading something, the least you could do is leave a few words of concrit or feedback. It's a bit of a letdown when I've spent so long working on a story, and nobody bothers to tell me how I've done, or how I can improve. It just makes the whole writing progress seem like a waste of time.
-Bandfics in a totally random category: I'm pretty sure there'll be someone who agrees with me here. It drives me insane when I'm scrolling through an archive (usually something small or musical-based) and there's a random Mary-Sue-gets-with-a-member-of-a-boyband fanfic in there. I respect the people who write bandfics, and believe them to be fanfiction in their own right, but this website is not the place for them. Try Livejournal or Wattpad. Or hell, even Tumblr or AO3.
-Lousy grammar/spelling: proof-read it. 'Nuff said.
-Flaming: If you can't say nothin' nice, don't say nothin' at all. Also, there are better ways of pointing out flaws in somebody's work without being rude. And if you really feel the need to vent your frustrations at an author, have the guts to sign in before you do it.

The Wicked Creed
Whenever it rains, I promise to remember Elphie.
Whenever I see animal abuse, I promise to remember Doctor Dillamond.
Whenever I see someone with disabilities, I promise to remember Nessarose.
When I see someone whose vanity blinds them, I'll think of Galinda.
When I see someone who's changed for good through a death, I'll remember Glinda.
When I hear about cruel dictators, I'll curse the Wizard and his deeds.
When I see a bullying teacher, I'll remember Madame Morrible.
When I see two lovers risking everything for the other, I'll remember Fiyero and Elphaba.
When I hear children teasing another child for differences, I'll remember Elphaba and her strength.
When I see two friends fighting, I'll remember Glinda and Elphaba...and how one argument can affect the rest of your life.
When I see a boy lovesick over a girl that'll never be his, I'll remember Boq.
Whenever I see a monkey chattering, I'll remember how hard Elphaba worked to get Chistery to talk.
If you love Wicked, think of this creed and post it in your profile.
I, HardfacedQueenofMisadventure, do solemnly swear to review all the FanFictions I read, regardless of the number of reviews, its age, or anything else.
