Hello, EveningCicada here! You can call me Cada, Evening, or Eve.
Gender: Female, mostly, sometimes, or not at all.
I aspire to be a writer and a neurologist one day. I'm also on Fictionpress.Net under the same name.
To describe me bluntly...My glasses are usually dirty and I'm bad at making decisions. I crack corny science jokes that give the illusion I'm good in chemistry. I'm better at playing air guitar than a real one, and this is a source of great embarrassment for me. I'm in that awkward, in-between stage of otaku and casual anime watcher. Languages are kind of my thing, my favorites being Latin and Japanese. Sometimes when I play Mega Man it makes me want to run around with an arm cannon and destroy evil robots that are corrupting our peaceful society. I tried learning Yu-Gi-Oh! once and I'd rather not talk about it. If I ever had twins I'd name them Chem and Theo (after chemistry and theology, two subjects that I cannot fully grasp and therefore would be good names for a couple of human beings, a race I also cannot understand). Metaphors are also sort of my thing. Bike riding in the summer is probably one of life's greatest pleasures. My characters are often based on people I know or would like to meet. When I'm bored I pretend to be a cat, and this angers my dogs. I have a thing for architects and pilots. And also, adjectives. As you have probably inferred by now, I have a thing for a ton of things. That's also sort of my thing. When I hear really beautiful music I cry. Sometimes the ending to a book is just so beautiful it's painful, and that's my favorite kind of ending. I write quotes on my desk. I like to listen to foreign music without a translation so I can feel the emotion in the singer's voice. My English teachers guide my way. The world often brings me down and I'm straining my neck to look up at it. I diagnosed myself with hypochondria. Unlike people who blast their stereos when their parents aren't home, I recite poetry as I go up and down the stairs. If I love you, I will probably write about you. Even if I hate you, I'll write about you. Just don't expect to survive past chapter five. I have far-too-real crushes on several fictional characters. When I can't sleep I pretend they're all fighting over me. And that makes me happy. I love supermarkets in the summer. Brightly colored lounge chairs on top of stacks of Diet Coke and the freezer section on a 90 degree day. Doesn't get much better than that. I'm convinced my dogs are a rare breed of Pokemon. I'm not afraid of ghosts. I just hope they don't delete my save files.

Dislikes: improper punctuation, getting hair caught in your contact lens, inaccurate history textbooks, learning it's not a snow day, not being able to have time to write, wasabi peas, writing bios--OOPS DID I JUST TYPE THAT OUT LOUD
And now it's time for more lists, because lists are the only true things in life.
