A letter to all my faithful readers,
DC.96, Why aren't you updating?!
I want to start by apologizing to all my loyal followers and reviews- I have said in the past that I would not go on any permanent hiatus', and I almost have. I do not do this to torture you, merely to ensure that I am delivering the quality work I believe you all deserve. I have spent the last few... months, rereading my stories and I have been appalled at the poor writing skills I displayed, for which I beg your forgiveness. I have been debating on how to redeem myself and have come up with several different solutions that have either been developed or tossed over time.
When I began the Aura of the Past series, I was depending purely on my scant memories of my mother's love of the book series, and a script I had printed out. I fell in love with Lord of the Rings as a child while my mother read it to me, and yet never bothered to read more than the first half of the Fellowship. I am currently rectifying the situation- my goal is to have the majority of Tolkien's works read by the end of the winter. I will be rewriting the Aura series, hopefully adding depth and length to it.
As to my "second" story- Disremembered Heritage. I honestly am not sure what I am going to do with it. As of right now, I have four actions that I have been wavering between:
As you can see, I haven't been sitting idle.
PS. If you are interested in adopting the Disremembered Heritage story, please contact me through this site. Know that you would not be going into the story blind, I have pages of notes and ideas which I would give to you for consideration and background knowledge. I did weeks of research, including constructing a full family tree, which you would be given access to.

Kicks can be found on my website- if you're looking for something to brighten your day.
In the year 600 AD, Myrddin Emrys cast a spell- a spell that would summon three willing apprentices. The first to arrive is a girl, mistreated by her family. The second is a boy, who grew up on the streets. The third, well... you and I call him Harry.
Rosalie's a bitch, that's for certain, but Bella can be just as nasty. When Edward disappears after that first day, Bella isn't forced to live up to his ideals. A stronger, smarter, smarmier Bella takes the scene and makes her way into the Cullen's life, stealing the heart of a different vampire.
My Sweet Southern Bell:
She jumped off the cliff to hear his voice, but when she opened her eyes... it's an entirely different vampire she sees. Somehow arriving in a completely different time and place, she must depend on someone who she knows... but they don't know her - yet at least.
Harry Potter/Captain America
Suddenly waking up in the 1940's is bad enough, but waking up in the 1940's in a different universe? That's just Harry's luck. Add in the insane madman who's keeping him captive, and we have a usual day for Mr. Potter.
What's the child to do, especially when the scientist's plans for him go awry?
King of the Pride:
Harry Potter/The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride
"Kovu, Kovu, Kovu. Scar wasn't even his father- he just took him in." Nuka muttered, scratching his termite infested back against a dead tree.
Who was Kovu's father, and why did Scar adopt him?
What if the Pride Lands were separated from the world by something magical?
What if the animals there were a touch more unique?
What if Harry was abandoned by the Dursleys- on a ship to Africa?
