Well, suilad mellyn!
So, I'm not sure what one puts on these things. I'm a total nerd, read far too much, watch too many movies, and hate unhappy endings. They affect my mood for days. I'm a history major so when I'm not writing papers, I'm usually writing stories. My muse is akin to lightning: it never strikes the same place twice. Generally, when I've written something for one book, movie, etc that's it.
My name comes from a quote that never fails to get me writing from Lewis Carrol's "Alice in Wonderland"
"Alice laughed: 'There's no use trying,' she said; 'one can't believe impossible things'
Given that I will probably forget a lot of the time on individual stories, here's my disclaimer: I own absolutely nothing in the stories I write aside from the creations of characters and situations purely from my own imagination. No monetary gain, implication of ownership, nor insult to any real persons characters may be based on is being made.
I always feel guilty when I explain an absence of updates with an update that doesn't have anything but an author's note. So, for anyone wondering,
Follow On: So, I succumbed to 'The Hobbit' fever and am now neck-deep in Middle Earth to my great pleasure. The response has been amazing. I'm always open for any thoughts someone wants to send my way about it. :) Here I sit, two months after I last updated, feeling guilty. As it happens, planning a wedding takes a lot more planning than I intended. Tomorrow, I get to be a bride, after that a honeymoon, and THEN back to writing. My muse is getting lonely; she's just been shut out by flowers and cake and dresses lately...
Love, Patches: I was uber-excited when I started this one, and then college and about ten thousand other story ideas popped into my head. I'm going to keep it up here because I know I'll get back to it, I'm just not sure when.
Hannad a na lû e-govaned vîn. :)
