Author has written 10 stories for Glee, Doctor Who, Gone, Harry Potter, and Supernatural.

Hi, everyone. I'm Al, and I love music and writing. Actually, mainly music, but this is a writing site, so I shall write. Otherwise, I sing all the time much the annoyance of everyone surrounding me (including strangers on the train. Ahem.), and I hope you like the things you find here

Ever since I first discovered it when I was little, Harry Potter has been a part of my heart and soul. It helped raise me: gave me ideals and values and an escape to a world I so, so wish was real. I guess I mention it to give you little of my background.

I've more recently become a follower of Supernatural: I love it to pieces, and I've recently written my first fic for it. Also, I've grown up with a love of Doctor Who, and one of the best shows ever (in my opinion, anyway), Sherlock, will probably find its way here at some point, too.

I've grown out of the love I used to have for Glee, really, but at the momente I'm not going to remove those stories, because I still enjoyed writing them. There is little chance that I will finish them, though, because I'm really not feeling it anymore. Maybe one day.

Hope you enjoy what I write, and please feel free to leave a review to tell me what you thought.

100 Questions! Because why not?

Grab the book nearest to you, turn to page 18, and find line 4.

"from Laurent Koscielny after the Everton game". It's a programme from an Aresnal vs United match (I'm a huge fan of the latter).

Stretch your left arm out as far as you can, What can you touch?

The wall.

Before you started this survey, what were you doing?

I was on Tumblr. I do little else.

What is the last thing you watched on TV?

Star Trek; I'm trying to watch all the movies because I think it's awesome.

Without looking, guess what time it is.

Er...8:45.

Now look at the clock. What is the actual time?

9:00. Pretty close!

With the exception of the computer, what can you hear?

My mum just walked past, I think.

When did you last step outside? What were you doing?

Last night I went to my grandparents' house.

Did you dream last night?

Of course I did. Everyone dreams every night, up to 1,000 times.

Do you remember your dreams?

Sometimes. For instance, last night I dreamt I was at a sort of boot camp where we had to complete an assault course, with the lovely twist that we could be blown up at any moment. Needless to say, I woke up about halfway through the course.

When did you last laugh?

About a second ago. I'm always laughing.

Do you remember why / at what?

Yeah, my sister showed me a funny picture.

What is on the walls of the room you are in?

Pictures of random landscapes and family members. And some bad drawings me and my cousins did when we were little.

Seen anything weird lately?

Yeah. I was on Tumblr, I told you that already, so of course I did.

What do you think of this quiz?

I've done worse.

What is the last film you saw?

Frankenweenie, which was actually quite good. And before that Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, which is beautiful.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?

New York. But I would need a house in London, too, because they tie as my favourite places in the world.

If you became a multi-millionaire overnight, what would you buy?

Houses, food, shelter, etc for the world's people who live in poverty. I know, I'm cliche, but it's true.

Tell me something about you that most people don't know.

I'm bi.

If you could change one thing about the world, regardless of guilt or politics, what would you do?

Inequality and unfairness.

Do you like to dance?

Yeah! I'm not all that good at it, but who cares?

Would you ever consider living abroad?

Yeah, in New York.

Does your name make any interesting anagrams?

A Lice. Lovely, I know.

Who made the last incoming call on your phone?

Probably my mum. I don't call, I only really text, but she doesn't really remember that. Either that, or she can't text, I haven't exactly figured it out yet.

What is the last thing you downloaded onto your computer?

Some holiday photos.

Last time you swam in a pool?

Years ago. I hate swimming.

Type of music you like most?

Any type, as long as it's a good tune and/or it speaks to me in some way.

Type of music you dislike most?

I really don't get heavy metal, and I also don't like a lot of music which is on the radio at the moment, but I guess that's been always the way.

Are you listening to music right now?

No, I'm watching Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan.

What color is your bedroom carpet?

Cream. My walls are cool, though: three light great and one bright blue.

If you could change something about your home, without worry about expense or mess, what would you do?

I'd put a carpet on the downstairs corridor floor and a lock on my bathroom door, but we've just done a massive renovation, so I'm mostly good for now.

What was the last thing you bought?

Some DVDs and Ellen DeGeneres's book, with a token I got for Christmas.

Have you ever ridden on a motorbike?

Yes, with my uncle. Fun, but not for me.

Would you go bungee jumping or sky diving?

Right now, NO. But that's because I have a crippling fear of heights, which I hope to someday get over.

Do you have a garden?

Yes, I'm very fortunate to have a lovely garden, even though I live in the city.

Do you really know all the words to your national anthem?

I do to the first verse, but as we embarrassingly proved as a collective nation during the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, NOBODY knows the words to the second verse. Seriously, no one. I doubt even the queen herself. Nobody ever sings it, it caught us all quite unawares.

What is the first thing you think of when you wake up in the morning?

Do I HAVE to? But that's only once I've managed to process a coherent thought.

If you could eat lunch with one famous person, who would it be?

Er...Misha Collins. Because that guy, I swear, is the nicest person in the world.

Who sent the last text message you received?

From an old friend who I've recenetly got back in touch with.

Which store would you choose to max out your credit card?

I don't have one, but HMV. Or a music shop, but I only have a little local one, and I'm not even sure if they take credit cards.

What time is bed time?

Anywhere between 9 on a REALLY good night (seriously, I celebrate when I get to go to bed that early) to midnight, depending on when I can force myself to.

Have you ever been in a beauty pageant?

No. Hideous things.

How many tattoos do you have?

None.

If you don't have any, have you ever thought of getting one?

I'd like to get either a star or a musical note on my ankle or my wrist.

What did you do for your last birthday?

I had a group of my closest friends over for a dinner and then we watched movies and had a sleepover. I'm not into really big parties, I much prefer smaller stuff.

Do you carry a donor card?

No.

Who was the last person you ate dinner with?

My extended family.

Is the glass half empty or half full?

Technically half full, because it can't be empty if there's anything at all in it (which technically means it can't be empty unless it's in a vacuum, but whatever), but in life...depends what mood I'm in.

What's the farthest-away place you've been?

Dubai.

When's the last time you ate a homegrown tomato?

A few months ago. It was really, really tiny and not very nice, but it was homegrown, so I ate it anyway. Random question.

Have you ever won a trophy?

I've won 'most improved' tennis player, geographer and artist, and the chorister's award at my prep school. It's funny, because I detest sport and geography, and most improved does certainly not mean talented when it comes to art, I can assure you that much.

Are you a good cook?

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhaahha no. Really, truly awful, actually.

Do you know how to pump your own gas?

Man, that sounds like SUCH a euphemism. But no, I do not actually know how to use a petrol dispenser.

If you could meet any one person (from history or currently alive), who would it be?

Too many!

Have you ever had to wear a uniform to school?

Yeah, right up until the end of the last term: I'm officially uniform free!

Do you touch-type?

Not properly, but sometimes I can if I don't pay attention too much to what I'm doing.

What's under your bed?

Some sofa cushions people sleep on when they stay over.

Do you believe in love at first sight?

Um, not sure. I wouldn't know, personally, but I don't see a reason why not.

Think fast, what do you like right now?

Ice cream. I just had some.

Where were you on Valentine's day?

Probably in school. Valentine's is just a regular day for me.

What time do you get up?

7:00. Shocking, I know.

What was the name of your first pet?

Never had one.

Who is the second to last person to call you?

No idea! My sister, maybe?

Is there anything going on this weekend?

Revising like I'm not doing now.

How are you feeling right now?

Ok. A little tired, stressed, but pretty good. Can't complain, you know? (Incidentally, who is this 'you' I keep addressing this to? I doubt anyone will ever read all the way down to number 65.)

What do you think about the most?

At the moment, exams. Normally...not sure. Probably a whole load of things, all at once and without making much sense.

What time do you get up in the morning?

For school, 6:30. At the weekends...as late as I can before someone physically drags me from my bed.

If you had A Big Win in the Lottery, how long would you wait to tell people?

I would collect my money, make sure it was all properly in order, then decide what I was going to do with it (although I might need some assistance with that...)

Who would you tell first?

My parents, probably. Then my brother and sister, then my best friend.

What is the last movie that you saw at the cinema?

Don't remember, but I'm going to see Star Trek later.

Do you sing in the shower?

Of course! It is my daily excuse to fully exercise my vocal chords.

Which store would you choose to max out your credit card?

You asked that question already!

What do you do most when you are bored?

Computer. Tumblr, YouTube, etc. Sometimes I play the guitar, but only when I have unlimited time, because I tend to play for hours without realising it.

What do you do for a living?

I go to school. But I make a fair bit doing quite a lot of babysitting.

Do you love your job?

I don't love babysitting, but there are much worse ways to earn money I don't actually need, so I appreciate the opportunities and the fact that people trust me to look after their kids.

What did you want to be when you grew up?

I'm not actually in employment, so I shall say what I want to be now: a singer. With all my heart. Except for the part that wants to be a writer. Neither of those will ever happen, though.

If you could have any job, what would you want to do/be?

Singer. Or writer. As I said.

Which came first the chicken or the egg?

The egg, I think, because a foetus would have held the genetic mutation which brought about the chicken as we know it today.

How many keys on your key ring?

4, I think.

Where would you retire to?

I have no idea! Way, way in the future.

What kind of car do you drive?

I don't drive. And I don't plan to: I get overly concerned in go-karts.

What are your best physical features?

I like my eyes.

What are your best characteristics?

My ability to laugh at myself, I think. It makes life easier and much more entertaining.

If you could go anywhere in the world on vacation where would you go?

A road trip across America.

What kind of books do you like to read?

Non-challenging ones.

Where would you want to retire to?

Stop asking the same question twice!

What is your favorite time of the day?

Sunrise (although I am very rarely awake for it), early morning, evening. Those are the times when the light and colour are most interesting.

Where did you grow up?

London.

How far away from your birthplace do you live now?

Literal birthplace? A few streets. Childhood home? Exactly the same place. Except that my bed's now on the other side of the room.

What are you reading now?

I'm halfway through Ellen DeGeneres, as well as Gin O'Clock and Miranda Hart's autobiography. And I finished the Fault in our Stars a couple of days ago. I finished it in the day I bought it: I literally couldn't stop reading it.

Are you a morning person or a night owl?

Night owl, definitely. And if I stay awake late, I'm even less of a morning person.

Can you touch your nose with your tongue?

No.

Can you close your eyes and raise your eyebrows?

Yeah...Didn't realise that was an issue for some people...

Do you have pets?

Nope. I want two fish called Rainbow and Sparkle, though.

How many rings before you answer the phone?

However many it takes before I find my phone, stuck down the back of a sofa, or at the bottom of my school bag, or something. If it's a landline, however long it takes before I realise no one else is going to answer it for me.

What is your best childhood memory?

I had a very good childhood, for which I am eternally grateful, so I'm not sure what I would pick as my best memory. Probably a time when I was with my family, or playing one of my extremely extensive imaginary games with some of my friends.

What are some of the different jobs that you have had in your life?

I have babysat, I have...done odd jobs for my neighbours. Not a very extensive employment, really.

Any new and exciting things that you would like to share?

The sitcom 2012 is funny. The world didn't end. But 13 is an unlucky number, so who knows what will happen? This year.

What is most important in life?

Love, respect, doing little things for other people makes everyone feel better, music is a universal language which unites and divides, and makes the world a better place.

What Inspires You?

Talia Castellano; my friends who are incredible, resilient beautiful people; my grandfather.

If you read all the way to the end here, you are my hero.
