Hey, I'm Robyn. Welcome to my profile!
I'm 20, female and I'm a huge Disney fan! I'm also a massive romantic; love my fluff, love my grand romantic gestures, love my rom-coms, love reading and writing fluff... Anything romantic really... Anyhow, I was born in England, but moved to Western Australia with my parents when I was 8.
I'm currently studying Creative Writing, and Professional Writing & Publishing at Curtin University, with the ultimate goal of becoming an author. My main genre is romance, but I do dabble in other genres...
Important Notice for my Readers:
I’ve mentioned this in Author’s Notes many times, but since I know there are people who don’t read them, I felt I should put a full notice here for them and any new readers.
My mother suffered from two serious, incurable health conditions. The first of these is Parkinson’s disease; no this is not just shaking. Parkinson’s affects the body’s ability to perform simple habitual tasks such as walking, getting out of bed and brushing her teeth, though this can be controlled relatively well through medication. However, the second, significantly worse issue is severe shrinkage at the back of the brain. We don’t know exactly what’s caused this, but she is no longer safe or able to care for herself. After months of waiting, we’re finally getting support in caring for her, but even this is only so many hours.
Now that I am also trying to complete my Creative Writing degree while dealing with everything else as well, it will likely take at least a few weeks – often months – to update stories. I might not have much free time on my hands, but I refuse to sacrifice the level of passion I put into my work, so please try to be patient with me, and I promise I'll do my best to update as often as possible.
I've found many amazing authors on this site. But there are three people who's stories I would love for you to look at.
MrAndersIversen Both my first friend and one of my first followers on this site, Anders has been a great supporter in my writing for a long time, and has even helped me through some pretty hard times. He doesn't write that much anymore, but he is still really good (especially for someone who’s first language isn't English), and a pleasure to read... (:
MrsAvanJogia As I mentioned before, life as a carer is a daily struggle, and it's also very lonely. She may be on the opposite side of the world, but she's always there to listen when I need a friend. She's also a great writer; her How to Train Your Dragon fics are some of the best in my opinion. So any Hiccstrid shippers reading this, you know where to go. ;)
Chaotic Reflections Chaotic's another of those girls I can always count on, and not just about Mum either. 'Fate is a Funny Thing' is well on its way to being my most successful story yet, and I owe it partly to her. She's contributed to some of its best parts, and is also helping me in planning the sequel. Needless to say, you should definitely go check out her work. I'm unfamiliar with most of the fandoms she's written in, but her fic 'See Me Now' alone proves she belongs on this list. :)

Girls are like apples on trees. The best ones are at the top of the tree. The boys don't want to reach for the good ones because they are afraid of falling and getting hurt. Instead, they just get the rotten apples from the ground that aren't as good, but easy. So the apples at the top think something is wrong with them, when in reality, they're amazing. They just have to wait for the right boy to come along, the one who's brave enough to climb all the way to the top of the tree.
