Hello all!

My name is Digitaldreamer, but I prefer to go by Digi for short. I am twenty-six years old with a degree in illustration and a number of silly adventures under my belt. I spend most of my free time hanging out with my lovely boyfriend of over five years. When I am not being swallowed by my crappy minimum wage sandwich job, I enjoy Dungeons and Dragons, hanging out with my nerdy friends and sometimes... lots of lots of fanfiction . If I could have a job writing fanfiction and drawing fanart, I probably would go for it.

I've been a part of this site on and off since 2002, so I suppose that means I've been here for... a decade. That is kind of insane for me to think of, but ah well. I got my start in the Kingdom Hearts fandom and have since moved through many, as you can see from the absurd list of terrible things below this profile. I have gone through many phases, from a horrible weeaboo phase to a yaoi phase to many others. I'm not sure what phase I'm in now, but if you check my fic list I'm sure you'll figure it out.

As far as fanfiction goes, I am all for keeping things close to canon or as close to the spirit of canon as possible. I'm not a huge fan of pairings, especially if they seem out of character. I was once a major yaoi fan but I now have trouble getting into it since usually in my experience the pairing makes the characters OOC and nothing like what the creator of the character probably would have intended. That's not to say I don't like to see changes, alternate universes or pairings, since all these things can be written believably. I just, y'know, would like to see it done well. I also believe in the power of some good ol' constructive criticism, so I try to give this and thorough commentary on what works in my reviews. If I come across as insulting or anything like that, I apologize, as that was not my intention. In return, if people would be willing to give me some constructive criticism of their own, I'd greatly appreciate it.

I am not continuing any of my One Piece fics ever. This goes for... most of my old fics, really. If it hasn't been updated in a year, I'm probably not coming back. There are some I would like to finish, but I really don't have time. If you've got a fic you'd like to know the ending to, drop me a review and I'll post a summary chapter to let people know what was going to happen.
