Who am I?

Well, like I just said, I'm Flandre Nightshade, student (currently in college), video game junkie, novice writer, book lover. There's a lot more to me but personally I try not to share too much more about myself. I'm a rather closed off person just in general, but I do appreciate getting to know people.

Why do I like writing?

Well. A motto I've always lived by is, if you want something done right then do it yourself. That's mostly a joke in regards to writing but is also a small reason as to why I write. Sometimes I see these niches or things that could just have so much potential, but no one else is doing it. So I start and just write whatever it is. I have no idea what I'm doing 90% of the time and outlines never survive first contact. But I have fun and people seem to enjoy it, so I figured might as well keep writing.

That and I also just love reading, so I love to write by extension. My brain wanders into creative hell where there's a billion different ideas bouncing back and forth at once and anytime I hold one down long enough, another idea takes its place. It's difficult sometimes but I love how I do things.

What are you even talking about?

I have no idea. I really don't. Sometimes people ask me "Wow what are you plans for the end of x fic?" and my answer is always "I literally have no idea."

I have a beginning idea. I have a middle focal point. And I have a vague idea for an ending. That's all. Everything else is the unknown.

What kind of stuff do you like to write about?

Honestly? Anything and everything. I used to write only solely around the Hurt/Comfort genre, but I've recently branched out to the more fluffy romcom stuff. It's a lot of fun if I'm honest but I still find myself wanting to write these deep soul searching chapters. I don't really have a set writing style. Which sucks because it feels like sometimes my identity gets lost in my writing. But that's mostly a product of my inconsistent writing schedule and motivation.

Why did you write x like y?

I dunno. I try to be as close to characters as I can, obviously I'm going to take some creative liberties but I try not to make people blatantly OOC. I (unfortunately) do a generous amount of research between every chapter because part of my just revolts at the idea of doing a character injustice because I inaccurately portrayed them.
