Author has written 1 story for Twilight.
About me? I'm a 24 year old college graduate from California who reads fanfics. Started writing my own and finally posting it, take a look if you'd like- especially if you like lemons. I can't explain why, but it's my guilty pleasure- probably has something to do with the fact that some of the stories posted on here are better than the original, which influenced me to write my own. I'm not really too keen on the idea of posting a whole lot about my information on here.
I try to update as fast as I can. I typically have plenty of free time for writing after work, but real life always comes first. I tend to take my time proofreading over and over to avoid errors. Because of this, some updates come slower than others if they're long, but most of the time I'm able to have a chapter completed and edited by the time I finish a pack of cigarettes and a bottle of Jack Daniels. I don't know why, but writing is a hell of a lot easier when I'm buzzed- except for having to correct all the damn typos it causes. If an update takes longer than 2 weeks for me to get out, it means I'm travelling for work, have writer's block, or I'm fleshing out the story to my liking- whatever the reason is, I'll be sure to let you know in the chapter notes.
I prefer to try and make my story have a feeling of realness to it, so sometimes I'll incorporate some real-life experiences of mine into my story. Obviously they're changed around to fit the story, but I keep them as true as humanly possible. It's up to you to decide what's based on real life and what's not. Since I'm a guy it's a lot easier for me to write from Jake's perspective... so that should help you narrow it down. I still write from Renesmee's POV, but I'm not going to pretend like I understand how the female mind works; I just hope that I'm somewhere in the ballpark (I'm probably not even close, huh?). I like to include my sense of humor wherever applicable, but unfortunately a lot of it is lost in translation- sometimes it's just impossible to adequately convey a joke through the medium of text. Some joke's just have to be heard, not read.
Thanks so much to everyone who has been following my story! I really appreciate the support and wonderful reviews.
If anybody is interested in being my beta- to proofread, maybe make suggestions, and double check for missing punctuation or even missing words and such (which are quite common), feel free to PM me. I spend a lot of time re-reading my chapters to try to get rid of as many errors as I can but it can be very time consuming for me due to the length of the chapters, especially with my work schedule piled on top.
Feel free to follow me on twitter, @itsKaputt (http://twitter.com/#!/itsKaputt) I'm pretty new to it, just like this site, so be patient with me as I get used to it!
