Anachronistic Anglophile, the one I worked on from 2009 to 2010, which I stopped posting on because it chronicles my star-crossed romance with another fanfiction writer. I abandoned fanfiction until I went through some major traumas in 2011 that brought me back here to begin Lady Heliotrope. The bulk of what I have posted here was when I was going through a really bad time in 2012. MrsHudson221b, which is connected to this account and a joke/metafanfiction. There's also my fetish account, which I'm not going to link to here. There might be a lot of typos in my stories that never get fixed. Oh well. This is a hobby and I actually get paid for some of my other writing, so I relish the times I don't have to take much care with what I write. This is a place for the characters that we love so much to either get a happy ending, or for me to chronicle their process towards getting a happy ending. (Usually via DARK DARK DARK DARK PLACES). I mostly just write stories about romanticized jerks. E.g. Severus Snape and Sherlock Holmes. Occasionally I will write a commission for a friend featuring different characters. K Chesterton I am a shadow fairy, facing the sun. / As Eden fell, my mother rose / And birthed me on a shadowy plain. / She was too beautiful to hold me, / And I floated away on a mortal's dream / To a dank place under a stone fountain's rim. / There I have thrived for centuries. / Pearls of black are my ovaries, / And witchly green are my fingers, / But the blooms I bear are violet. / So here I let my hair down, / And share with you the rich, tragic songs of my heart. / Orpheus I am not, but they do say / That I might be a Eurydice. Hello to you. Thank you for reading my profile and poems and stories. My art on this site is a treasured secret. Consequently, please know that the products here are a result of accumulated knowledge, usurped from thousands of other souls against which my own has brushed. Still, please, please enjoy your visit to my work. Make yourself a home here in the bits of my soul - some silly, some sad, some sober, some sprightly - that I've put up here to share with you. I hope you find something that you think is beautiful. Ours is not to question why, ours is but to do and die - so I post unquestioningly whenever and whatever inspiration dictates. Regularity is for work. Spontaneity is for play. While neither are exclusive to the other, these things do generally have a way of getting separated into spheres. |
